La and Nn climbed down the stairs hand in hand. She looked so stunning like a goddess.


    Besides, it was her big day. The day she would be crowned Luna.


    The hall was filled with people of different dignitaries. They all held a happy look on their faces.


    La could feel the eyes of the crowd on her as she and Nn made their way down the stairs. She tried to keep her head held high and her smile in ce, but she couldn’t help but feel a little overwhelmed by the situation.


    She knew it was an honor to be crowned Luna, but it was also a bit nerve-wracking to be the center of attention like this. Still, she tried to put on a brave face and enjoy the moment.


    After all, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.


    “What was the surprise you talked about?” She asked Nn. Maybe conversing with him would make her calm down a little.


    “Be patient..” the corner of his lips curled up.


    La bit her lip to keep from smiling too widely. She loved the mischievous look on Nn’s face, and she couldn’t wait to see what he had in store for her. She trusted himpletely, and she knew that whatever it was, it would be amazing.


    “Okay, I’ll try to be patient,” she said, a twinkle in her eye. “But it’s hard when you’re keeping me in suspense like this.”


    “That’s part of the fun,” Nn said, a yful glint in his eye.


    As they imed down the stairs, she saw Malcolm and his family waiting for her with smiles on their faces. They looked a lot better than thest time she saw them.


    Malcolm and his family stood in a line, beaming at La as she approached. They looked healthier and happier than they had in a long time, and it was clear that they had been making an effort to improve their lives since theirst encounter.


    La was pleased to see the progress they had made, and she felt a sense of satisfaction in knowing that she had yed a small part in their transformation.


    As she neared them, Enid stepped forward to greet her. “Your highness, it’s so wonderful to see you again,” he said, his voice full of warmth as they all bowed ti La and Nn.


    “Me too..” La smiled back at them.


    “How are you doing?” She asked looking around them, someone seemed to be missing.


    “My grandma wanted to get here, but the doctor suggested that she get some quality rest” Millie chimed in, after sensing that La might be searching for her grandma.


    “Oh, I understand,” La said, her heart going out to Millie’s grandmother.


    “I’m sure she’s doing everything she can to get well soon. Please give her my best wishes.”


    “I will,” Millie said, giving La a grateful smile.


    “Thank you for being so understanding. It means a lot to us.”


    “Of course,” La said, feeling a swell of affection for this family.


    “You’re like family to me, and I want what’s best for all of you.”


    “I see Malcolm is really doing well…” Enidughed. “Thanks for inviting us your highness..” Enid appreciate.


    “You’re wee. Please feel free and enjoy yourselves..” she motioned for them.


    La was about to turn to another direction when she heard her name.


    “La!!” She fixed her eyes on the direction she heard her name and was so surprised to see Aurora running towards her.


    “How do you like you surprise?” Nn smirked as La gasped in surprise, she felt so happy.


    So that was the surprise Nn was talking about. He invited Aurora to the pack.


    La’s eyes filled with tears as she rushed to embrace Aurora.


    “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe you’re here!” she eximed, hugging her tightly.


    Aurora hugged her back, and when they finally pulled apart, she was beaming. “I couldn’t miss this for the world!” she said, her eyes shining.


    “You’re going to make a wonderful Luna.”


    “You really think so?” La asked, a mix of nerves and excitement bubbling up inside her.


    “I know so,” Aurora said, her voice full of conviction. “I’ve never seen you more radiant”


    “I mean look at you” Aurora fawned as she took a look at La’s dress.


    “Your dress is fire and pregnancy sure suits you a lot. You look dashing and you’ve grown more bigger. Oh my baby, how have you been?” Aurora hugged La again not minding that they were in the midst of a lot of people..


    La felt a rush of warmth at Aurora’s words. She knew she had changed a lot since she had be pregnant, but it was nice to hear it from someone else.


    “It’s been a journey, but I’m feeling really good now,” she replied, smiling.


    “I know right ” Aurora giggled.


    “I was so surprised when Xander showed up at my doorstep..” sheughed as she remembered as she wanted to m the door on his face but then he mentioned that he would like to take her to pack.


    She didn’t even know when she jumped on him happily.


    Laughed, imagining the scene.


    “I can just imagine how surprised you must have been! And then you couldn’t resist the chance to see your best friend again” La teased.


    “By the way, where’s Xander? I haven’t seen him around?” La asked feeling very happy. She couldn’t wait to see him.


    “He’s around somewhere,” Aurora replied, ncing around the room.


    “I’m not sure where he is, but he was definitely here.”


    La scanned the room, trying to find his familiar face in the crowd. “I hope he hasn’t gotten himself into any trouble,” she half-joking.


    Auroraughed. “Knowing Xander, he’s probably in the thick of it. He’s never been one to stay out of trouble for long.” The bothughed.


    “Talk of the devil..” La giggled as she saw Xander approaching them.


    Xander sauntered over to La and Aurora, a mischievous grin on his face.


    “Hello,dies,” he curtsied, giving them both a wink.


    “I hope you’ve been having a good time.”

    “ttery will get you everywhere,” Xanderughed.


    “But it’s good to see you too, La.” He uttered she softly.


    “Me too..”


    “Where Nn?” Xander asked looking around.


    “He must be around..” La replied.


    “Alright, see you soon, my Luna..” he bowed yfully as he walked away.


    Everywhere was filled withughter, everyone was happy, except one person of course. She wished deep within her that everything woulde to ruins.
