La was in her room as the maids prepared her for her coronation. Keisha was versed in hair making, so she helped style her hair.


    She hade here to get ready after tending to Malcolm’s wound.


    La sat at her dressing table, her eyes closed as the maids fussed over her hair and makeup. She was trying to keep calm and focus on the moment, but it was hard not to let her nerves get the best of her. This was a big day – the day she would be crowned queen of the kingdom. She had trained for this moment her entire life, and now it was finally here.


    As the maids finished up, she rose from her chair and turned to look in the mirror. She barely recognized the woman looking back at her. She looked regal and confident.

    The maids all smiled, and one of them spoke up.


    “It is our honor to serve you, your highness,” she bowed.


    “We are so excited for you, and for the future of the pack.


    La’s smile grew even wider. “Thank you,” she said. “Your support means so much to me.”


    “woah, woah, woah!” Keisha gasped as she dropped theb she was holding.


    “Nn would never be able to take his eyes off you..” she grinned.


    Laughed, but there was a hint of nervousness in herughter.


    “You think so?” she asked, her voice light and teasing. “I hope you’re right.”


    “I know so,” Keisha said, her tone full of confidence.


    “You look absolutely stunning. He won’t be able to resist you.”


    “Thanks,” La smiled, her cheeks turning pink.


    “I’m fine, really,” La assured, cing a hand on her stomach.


    “And please, stop calling her a girl.! We don’t know the sex yet” La pouted.


    “I know, I know,” Keishaughed, rolling her eyes.


    “But it’s so much fun to tease you about it! You’re going to be such a wonderful mother, La. I just know it.”


    “Thank you,” La said, a smile on her face. “That means a lot to me.”


    Just as they were conversing the door sprang open and Nn walked in.


    “Nn..” La muttered as he walked in, the maids bowing.


    “I’ll leave you both” Keisha motioned for the maids to leave and they all left the room.


    Nn looked around the room, taking in the scene before him. His eyesnded on La, and he smiled.


    “Are you all right?” he asked, his voice soft as he held her hands.


    “I’m fine,” La said, trying to sound reassuring.


    He looked so breathtaking in his Royal attire.


    “And the baby?” He asked as he slowly ced his hands on her stomach.


    La took a deep breath, and she ced her hand on top of his.


    “He or she is fine, too,” she smiled, her voice full of love and wonder.


    “I’ve been feeling the baby move today, I think he or she knows something’s going on.”


    “You’ve been so amazing through all of this, La. I couldn’t be more proud of you.”


    La felt her heart swell at his words.


    “It’s going to be fine. There’s no need to be nervous, you’ll do just fine..” he said assuringly to her.


    La felt a wave of relief wash over her at his words. “Thank you,” she appreciated, her voice full of gratitude.


    “I’m trying to stay calm, but it’s not easy. I just want everything to be perfect.” She signed. The fact she was human bothered her. What if she was not epted by the people?


    Nn took her hand in his, and he looked into her eyes


    . “You don’t have to be perfect,” he pointed out, his voice full of sincerity.


    “You’re already perfect, just the way you are. All that matters is that you and the baby are healthy and happy.”


    “Come here.” He hugged her and his sweat smell wafted through her nose. She really found sce in his embrace.


    She was sure she was going to be fine as long Nn was with her. All she needed was him by her side.


    “Did you meet Ca?” La suddenly asked. She has been curious about that as she was sure Ca would definitely go to Nn.


    “She came to me. But don’t tell me anything about that. I’m sure she got what she deserved. You don’t act rashly ” he stated as he admired her beauty. He hadn’t even told her how pretty she looked.


    She looked like a goddess under the moonlight.


    “Thanks for trusting In me Nn..”

    “Come on my Luna and I have a gift waiting for you..” he uttered as he led her out of the room.


    “What’s that?” La grilled feeling excited about the gift.


    “It’s a surprise”
