Chapter 680: I believe in you, but I won''t believe what he said.
Ken didn''t mind and after Yanis finished ordering, he turned to the waiter and said, "I''ll have the same
as her."
"Okay, please wait a moment," replied the waiter.
After the waiter left, Ken''s gaze never left Yanis'' face even for a second. Despite trying to ignore
Ken''s somewhat repulsive eyes, Yanis was still affected.
Yanis decided to confront Ken directly and said with confidence, "Mr. Huo, if you have something to
say then just say it."
Ken chuckled lightly upon hearing Yanis'' words and replied flirtatiously, "I don''t really have anything
to say but I must admit that Miss Thompson sitting in front of me is quite pleasing to my eyes. If I could
see Miss Thompson more often it would definitely be a happy thing."
Ken''s words were somewhat frivolous as if he was intentionally teasing Yanis. If someone else had
said this then Yanis may not have felt any difort buting from Ken made her feel uneasy.
Before Yanis could respond, Ken spoke again saying with his voice raised slightly louder than
before,"I must admit that I am envious of Zane suddenly having such good fortune being able to see

Yanis frowned in response asking sternly,"What exactly do you want?"
Kellen propped up his chin looking at Yanis saying,"Nothing really but I do want something..."
He paused briefly before continuing on with his sentence,"But I''m afraid Mr. Lawrence wouldn''t approve
since gentlemen don''t take advantage of others'' kindness."
Yanisughed at what she heard responding yfully ,"Do you consider yourself a gentleman Mr.
Huo?"
Kellen raised an eyebrow looking at Yannis asking curiously ,"Why? Am I not considered one in your
eyes?"
Without answering him back , Yannis shifted her gaze away from him instead . Not wanting things
between them getting any worse , Kellen stopped making frivolousments . The waiter arrived
shortly after bringing over their drinks which helped calm down Yannis'' irritation . As she took sips from
her iced fruit tea , she managed suppress some of her annoyance towards him . However , despite
everything that happened so far today , there was no denying that deep down inside herself there was
still some interest towards this man named Huo Ke Lan who seemed like he couldn''t get enough
beautiful women around himself - much like how women can never get enough bags or clothes they
fancy . For Anna, it was probably because she wasn''t like the other women who threw themselves at
him that Ken was slightly intrigued. Just like Yanis now. The more she ignored him, the more he
wanted to conquer her. Even though Yanis belonged to Zane, he still had that thought in his mind.
Zane arrived quickly and headed straight for Yanis after entering the room. He scanned her up and
down before finally rxing when he saw that she was okay. He then turned to Ken.
"Mr. Lawrence, what a surprise," Ken hadn''t even finished speaking when Zane suddenly kicked him.
Ken was sitting down and although he tried to dodge as soon as he realized what was happening, it
wasn''t enough time.
Zane''s kick had full force behind it and sent both Ken and his chair flying over to one side.
Yanis didn''t expect Zane to suddenly attack either so she didn''t have a chance to stop him before
Ken hit the ground.
Then came Zane''s second kick which followed immediately after the first one but this time Ken
reacted faster than before by rolling away from Zane''s foot just in time before getting back up on his
feet again quickly while looking at Zane saying: "Mr. Lawrence has quite a temper."
Zane coldly stared at him: "Do you want to die?"
When Ken met with those icy eyes of Zanes'', an inexplicable chill ran through his body despite being
someone who mingled with all sorts of people in various situations including dangerous ones - It only
took one nce from those eyes for anyone who knew anything about danger or violence could tell
how much killing intent they held within them - And knowing how important Yanis is for Zanes made it
even clearer why there would be such ruthlessness emanating from them towards anyone who dared
cross their path!
Thinking about this made Kellenugh out loud: "Mr. Lawrence''s reaction is quite something! Aren''t you
afraid of exposing your own weaknesses in front of everyone?"
Instead of replying verbally, however; once again clenching his fists tightly together into balls; without
warning or hesitation whatsoever- Mr. Lawrence swung another punch directly towards Mr. Kellen''s
face!
This time around though; Mr. Kellen managed not only dodging away but also fighting back head-on
against Mr. Lawrence himself! Both men were equally matched physically speaking- making it
impossible for any security guards present on site trying separating them apart sessfully since
neither party showed any signs of stopping anytime soon!"Zane, are you ying dirty with me?" Ken
swung his fist towards Zane.
After dodging Ken''s punch, Zane replied in a low voice, "Ken, no one can beat you at turning the
tables."
The two of them continued to exchange blows and words, neither willing to back down.
Albi stood on the side unsure of what to do.
"Miss, could you help us calm them down? Things could get ugly if this continues," the waiter who took
their order asked Yanis assuming she was with Ken.
Yanis nced at the fighting duo and furrowed her brows before stepping forward. "Zane, stop it."
Upon hearing Yanis'' words, Zane slowed his movements while Ken took advantage of this
momentary pause and struck him hard.
Naturally prepared for such an attack from Ken''s side, Zane quickly evaded it. But that didn''t stop
Ken from following up with a kick which missed its mark by inches.
In many ways, Kellen was no match for Zane as he had taken quite a beating already after several
rounds of fighting.
Finally, Yanis managed to separate them. "Zane, you need to calm down."
Yanis grabbed hold of Zanes arm and positioned herself between him and Kellen.
Kellen looked at Yanis standing in front of Zanes face and frowned slightly,"Miss Thompson, punches
have no eyes. You better stand aside or else I won''t be responsible if someone gets hurt."
Yanis stared back resolutely,"Mr. Huo, you need to stop now or I''ll call the police!"
Looking over at Zanes direction, Kellenughed out loud,"Miss Thompson, is it appropriate for you to
protect a man who betrayed you?"
As soon as these words left his mouth, Zanes anger red up again. He pulled away from Yaniss grip
readying himself for another fight but she held him tight saying ,"Zane!"
He looked towards her frowning deeply ,"Yaniss , just wait...."
"I believe in you. I don''t trust anything he says", she interrupted softly before he could finish speaking.
Her words calmed some part of his anger so he didn''tsh out again. Instead , he gave onest
warning look towards kellen before walking away silently beside yaniss .
