Chapter 30: Blocking an Alpha''s Way


    He eyes me, "Nah, Alpha Derek isn''t into stuff like that. I haven''t heard any women being rted to him


    before. Though, I also can''t me him if he gives in to beta Venus."

    Noah guffawed quite loudly, his body convulsing as he slowly died fromughter. I stared at him


    nkly. I can''t say I have the same emotion since I''m one of the people who would have to handle


    Alpha Seff.


    I breathe out, "What''s so funny? are you even aware of how an alpha could get angry?"


    He sniffs, trying to stop himself fromughing. "Sorry, sorry, it''s just funny how Alpha Derek banned him


    all of a sudden. I''m now convinced that maybe something is going on between him and beta Venus. I


    mean why would he ban his friend, right?"


    It''s impossible to talk to this idiot. Rolling my eyes, I made my way out and left him since he continued


    tough. I made my way to the southern border, which Liam was stationed. When I arrived, my body


    froze as I saw many people blocking Alpha Seff''s way. He was already in his wolf form, gnarling at the


    men who blocked his way.


    Liames up to me, "Do something! haven''t you been staying here longer than us?! we can''t hold


    him up that long!"


    I know, he''s probably not attacking since no one dared to shift in front of him- and it''s not like it''d be a


    wise decision too. I gulped, sweat rolling at the side of my face.


    "I don''t know. This is the first time I''m seeing Alpha Seff getting hostile to Crescent Moon. Did you


    report to Alpha Derek?"


    "I did, but he said that no matter what, we shouldn''t let him enter, or we''re dead?!"


    I groaned in annoyance. It was apparent that Alpha Seff and Alpha Derek were childish to do this to


    each other. If I had to guess, then this must be rted to beta Venus again. If only I could just convince


    Alpha Derek to handle this mess for now.


    With a tiny bit of hope, I tried to contact Alpha Derek.


    [Alpha! Alpha Seff is forcing his way through! Can you please at least tell us how to handle this friend of

    I cursed continuously, and I took deep breaths. I didn''t care anymore, and I took a step forward, the


    raging wolf of Alpha Seff towering my height. I locked eyes with him as I tried my best to look as


    "Alpha Seff, please shift back first, then we can talk."


    Fortunately, he wasn''t that angry after all. He immediately understood my intentions and shifted back,


    yet there were still traces of grievances found in his face.


    He clicks his tongue, "Easton, you''ve been here far longer than them, so care to tell me why I''m


    suddenly prohibited from going in?"


    "Alpha Seff, we didn''t mean to offend you. We''re just following our alpha''s orders. I hope you


    understand."


    "I want to talk to your alpha, so let me in."


    "I can''t do that, Alpha Seff. My orders were to stop you-" I froze as I felt the intense bloodlust of Alpha


    Seff radiating. His aura was scattering. We all hesitantly took a step back. None of us even dared to


    look at him in the eyes at the moment.

    into more trouble, so I scratched off the thought.

    Liam cuts in, his voice showing evident irritation, "Don''t be stubborn. Our alpha clearly warned you not


    to step foot in our territory, Alpha Seff. If you force your way through, can you handle the wrath of Alpha

    We''re doomed! I thought. Pulling Liam towards behind me, we all waited for the worst as silence


    covered the surroundings. We were all looking down, our feet locked into position as we prepared to


    shift if Alpha Seff ever tried to fight his way in.


    Then suddenly, we heard him chortled in amusement.


    "Calm down. I was just fucking with you. You''re right. I shouldn''t be so stubborn, huh? We wouldn''t


    want a war against Crescent moon to start. I''ll juste by in another day then, so make sure to tell


    your Derek to entertain me or else."


    I looked up and looked at him nervously. What the hell just happened?
