the guest house in silence when Tolverstov said.

have pure sybu which is equal to thousand regular
sybu, but it is as rare as your tool.

They left the house and the gardens and walked
down the hill toward the village.
“I have a question” Nathaniel said, “but I’m afraid

Tolverstov smiled. “You should probably ask
anyway.”

“You mean, why did he put you in his guest

“Of cores. Let me rephrase, why are you helping

Tolverstov’s smile widened. “Well,” he said, “I’ve
heard about a stranger with no levels, yet with
high level tool. And to tap it off, that stranger
happened to appear next to… well, certain event,
and with no idea where he is. I’d be fullish not to
keep you near me.”
“The only thing I understood is that you want my
tool.”
“No, I can’t even touch it. I’m interested in you.”

“I want to study you and your circumstance.”

They reached the village and entered the local
market. It was a medieval style market. It wasn’t

Tolverstov’s house. He was now wearing loose low
quality clothes. It was more comfortable than the
costume though.
Tolverstov made simple breakfast and they sat
down to eat.
“How much do you know”? Tolverstov asked.
“Explain it to me like I was just born.”

“I’m going to explain to you more details than
most people know because you didn’t grow up to
know all that. On top of our universe glued to our
reality there’s a sheet of magic. We don’t exactly
know what magic is, but we know how it works. All
the time magic flows into our reality, and
immediately interacts with matter. That mean that
it become part of the matter it interacts with,
although parts of it flow freely around the matter
it blended with. When magic enters our reality, it
breaks apart and form a potential circle to repair
itself. The way to complete a circle can be
everything, from moving one rock, singing a few
wards, or touching the core of every star in the
universe. When you complete a circle, your body
absorb the magic in its pure form. You can absorb
only enough magic to advance a level, if you try to
absorb more, the magic simply forms another
circle. In order to advance levels, you need to
strengthen your body, which is a little
complicated. You need to choose an appropriate
circle, I’ll come back for what an appropriate circle
is, and convert it to the appropriate level powder
and absorb it, I’ll also explain about converting and
level powder. When you at level one, you can start
absorbing abilities. You absorb abilities by the
appropriate level powder and circle. As you’ve
probably realized by now, magic blends with
concepts and believes as well as matter. Some
magic circles blend with level energy, those are
the appropriate circles to advance levels. But
magic also comes in various amounts, so you can
complete one circle and it’s enough to advance
level, and you can complete a hundred circles to
advance. In advancing levels, you can’t use weaker
magic than your level requires, you need to find
large enough circle with level energy. The same
with absorbing abilities. Sometimes magic
interacts with magic, then one circle absorbs the
concept from the other circle which cause the
other circle to fail and brake. Surprisingly enough it
breaks only to four sizes, kit is the smallest, then
there’s pit, fog, and the largest sybu. Now there’s
rare cases where a circle of magic forms without
blending with anything but matter, and it’s always
in sybu size. When a circle interacts with the rare
matter circle, the matter circle doesn’t break,
instead it forms pure sybu.”
Tolverstov wanted to continue, but Nathaniel
stopped him.
“Stop, I need a break. Too much information.”
“But I didn’t explain about...”
“Good. You can explain it later.”
“Okey. What are you going to do now”?
“I’m going to check my powers.”
