《dalahar's powers》 1. Naked and afraid Nathaniel was pretty sure he shouldn''t drive, instead he decided to go to brod''s apartment. It wasn''t the first time. brod''s apartment was two blocks away from the bar, and Nathaniel was crushing on brod''s couch every time that he was drunk after work. He stumbled through the street, not really knowing if he said sorry to someone he bumped into, or if it was just a tree. The first sign of trouble was when he entered the apartment building, instead of the usual stairs and elevator, there was a door and a huge closet. WTF? he closed his eyes, slowly feeling the whiskey thumping through his head. Maybe I shouldn''t drink the whole bottle next time. He opened one eye, hoping to see the familiar elevator, but the huge closet insisted to remain ''not an elevator''. The responsible voice in his mind mumble something about needing to not be here, so he turned around and sent his hand to grab the door handle, but there was no door behind him. the responsible voice burst out laughing. He fell to the floor laughing, knowing there''s something very wrong happening around him. After some time passed and the laughter subsided, Nathaniel was a little more focus. He got to his feet, and walk to the door. Obviously I came through this door. This time he didn''t laugh, the door was made of wood planks and didn''t even move. Nathaniel was starting to sober up, the situation was serious, his vision wasn''t clear, and he still wasn''t stable on his feet, but he was thinking in the right direction. The right direction didn''t mean fast though, and it was hard to focus on one subject, when his mind kept wondering around. After a while, he decided to open the closet, it was made of gray metal, and had three doors. When he examined the doors, he saw that every door has two icons at the top. Door handle Nathaniel was standing in a room he shouldn¡¯t be in, talking with a voice he shouldn¡¯t hear, the voice of Siri, claiming to be inside of his brain, where she really shouldn¡¯t be. It was a massive door, made of brown wood, and it had a big round handle in the middle. He tried to pull on the handle, it didn¡¯t move. He tried to push, nothing. Frustrated, he tried to rotate the handle, and it smoothly rotate half way to the right. ¡°oh¡± When he tried to pull the door, it moved, but not much. ¡°Damn, this door is heavy¡± He pulled the door more and more, until it opened enough for him to pass thru. He was exhausted, still drunk, and most important, naked. The wooden door seemed smooth, but he wasn¡¯t going to bet on it against his uncharacteristically unprotected parts. Nathaniel picked it up, and examine it, it was heavy. It was a simple orb, connected to a small shaft and a flat square to nail it to a door. He was in a cavern, in a big natural room, with high ceiling, and a door at the far end of the room. There was something next to the door, but he couldn¡¯t focus enough with his eyes to see what it was. The light in the room came from a long bright line in the middle of the ceiling, lightning a wide line from the door he just opened, all the way to other door, leaving the sides of the room in relative darkness. In the middle of the room, on a wooden box, there was a golden tin tin shaker. Full of curiosity, he approached the wooden box, and tried to pick up the shaker. When he almost touched the shaker, a shock of lightning burst from the shaker and blasted his hand away. He was seating on the floor, still clutching his right hand, and slowly he opened his eyes. It looked like something between a body builder, and a dog. More like a dog, with no fur, and a muscular body. It was brown, thick, and the size of a black bear. It looked like it was waking up from a good sleep. Nathaniel¡¯s mind stared racing, he had no doubt, that when this thing notices him, he¡¯ll have very little time before an unscheduled meeting with its teeth. He tried to think of a weapon, but he was naked and there was only a wooden box near him. he had nothing useful, and the beast suddenly looked at him and growled. The beast leaped forward, and Nathaniel clenched his fists in an instinctive defensive move, prompting a shock of pain from his right hand. On the floor near him, a dead monster of a dog, was laid with the center of its body smushed to thin layer on the floor. When the dog attacked him, in a desperate move, he dropped a golden shaker from his inventory on the dog, and that was the end of the dog. Yes, he had an inventory now, a part of a system he was in the middle of checking out, when explosions rocked the room. ¡°Oh shit¡± ¡°I agree¡± ¡°The shaker!¡± The golden shaker apparently had some lightning power, it injured Nathaniel hand, and killed the dog. Luckily, he could put it in his inventory without touching it, which he now did hurriedly. ¡°Are you going to drop it on every danger you encounter¡±? Siri asked ¡°Better than nothing¡± He put on the helmet, and hurried to the smaller room at the back. The explosions stopped, but there were clearly people fighting outside the big room. After a short while, the door on the other side of the big room was breached, and the sound of yelling, growling, and hits by metal claws and wood filled the air. Looking around, Nathaniel realized that the only hiding place in the room is the closet. The woman moved toward the shaker, sending a questioning look to Nathaniel, and he gestured for her to pick it up. She tried to touch it, and got the same lightning as Nathaniel did when he tried to touch it. She jumped backwards and said something that Nathaniel gauss was the equivalent of what the fuck in her language. When he looked at her, she seemed terrified. He watched her confused as she backed slowly toward the man. Both of them pressed themselves to the wall, both looking at him like he is the bringer of doom or something like that. Not knowing what to do, he returned the shaker to his inventory, and looked at the third person. It was a woman with dark hair and blue robs, she was on the floor near the others, and looked worst then them. After a minute of silence, the woman with the red hair said something in a shaky voice. "She said ''are you not going to kill as''" What Nathaniel shook his head hurriedly, trying to explain in hand gestures that he''s friendly. The man started to say something, but was cut off when three people came into existence inside the room. What the fuck? "You really need to stop cursing 5. Good morning sunshine With the help of alcohol, it was easier to except the existent of monster dogs, sentient Siri, virtual inventories, and a killer golden shaker. But people appearing out of thin air was too much, so when the man and two women came into existence in front of him, Nathaniel hunched forward and emptied his stomach on the floor. At the same time, the two already in the room warned the new once about something, and they all jumped away from him. although they still gave him weird looks rather than scared looks. He calmed himself and looked at the stains on his outfit, it was very important to him at the moment. He told himself, that if he¡¯s going to communicate with people that teleporting next to him using hand gestures, it¡¯s better to not do so with vomit stained cloths. Seeing the now five people looking at him and talking to each other, he turned his attention to Siri. The woman looked at him and ask something, sounds hopeful. ¡°She said ¡®are you a strong fighter¡¯¡± Nathaniel burst out laughing. ¡°Hell no¡± he said, then shook his head violently. Then they reappeared in the room and immediately opened the door to fight again. They did it seven times in one hour. Eventually, there was no mor dogs left and they called Nathaniel and the blue robed woman to come out of the room. The big room now was littered with dog bodies, some was sliced, some was smushed, and some was burned. Nathaniel touched one of the burned dogs with his leg. It was the women that stayed with Nathaniel in the closet room when the others fought the dogs, and the man and women that came with her to the room at the beginning. He could see Bloom jumping around and sending lightning everywhere, he saw Jenifery obliterating people and horses alike, he saw David and Tiki dancing around in a weird dance causing explosions everywhere, Velony was nowhere to be seen except of a blur circling a rider a moment before he died. The riders were in chaos, their advancement became slower by the second, while they were trying to overcome the five people that were dancing in the middle of their fighting force. The kicking and punching guy was indestructible, the other guy kept exploding, and the last person they couldn¡¯t even see.
