    Serenity went to see Lisa the next day. The two met up and got a table in a restaurant near Lisa’s


    house.


    Seeing Lisa’s swollen eyes, Serenity reckoned Lisa had probably not slept wellst night.


    “What happened after you got home yesterday?” Serenity asked.


    “Don’t even talk about it. My parents were starting to prepare a ransom amount. They almost punished


    me when they saw me back,” Lisa grumbled.


    Serenity looked puzzled. “What? You didn’t tell them about Terry?”


    “Uh.. I told them a friend I hadn’t seen in a while pulled a prank on me. I imed I forgot to tell them


    and unintentionally made them worried,” Lisa exined. She did not dare to tell her parents the truth.


    Her parents did not know about her vacation fling oversea. If they knew, they would not stop at merely


    lecturing her. Her father would probably beat her with a rolling pin.


    “What’s going on with you and Terry? Why did he take you away like that yesterday? Serenity then


    asked the biggest question on her mind.


    When Serenity had seen Terryst night, she remembered seeing him before. Serenity had seen him


    through the ss window when eating in the restaurant with Lisa.


    That meant Terry had been looking at Lisa!


    Lisa flushed a little. There seemed to be some unspeakable problems.


    “If you’re notfortable talking about it…”


    “Hey, it’s not about that.” Lisa then told Serenity about what had happened back then. “After that, I got


    your call and went back home. I thought he was open–minded because he had grown up abroad. I

    Serenity was dumbfounded hearing about Lisa’s past with Terry. From what she had heard from


    Jackson, Terry White was not just any man. He was scheining and well–connected, but it turned out

    “M–Maybe.” Lisa said awkwardly.


    “We got you out of his ce yesterday, but I don’t think Terry will let it go.” Serenity was worried. “What
