    Chapter Nine, Fate Controller Maria.

    ...

    <hr>

    ...

Everything was dark. Nothing could be felt.

Confusion was the only thing present.

It was slowly becoming filled with countless questions. Slowly, it started to perceive what was not a part of it. Feeling could be felt.

There were things touching it. It''s body was being manipulated, touched, shaped, tampered with.

But it did not feel bad. It did not feel wrong. Nor did it feel disgusting.

Indeed, it felt powerless, but it subconsciously welcomed these foreign feelers.

    The fleshy extremities. Silicone tentacles.

It felt, weird. But it felt, nice.

Something was nurturing it. It was being provided with sustenance, alongside principles, virtues, and significance.

It could feel that within, it was capable of anything. It had unlimited potential, the destiny for something great!

And this potential was being expanded upon! The, thing, feeling upon it, was making everything even better!

In it''s mind, it wanted to portray it''s thanks.

But it did not know how. It did not even know what thanks was. Nor did it know anything at all!

But, the feeler, the thing toying with it...

It knew, what it was feeling somehow!

It could feel a warmth washing over, as something strange accompanied the feeling.

It did not know at the time, but the strange something was sound.

    "Manifest beauty, O'' brilliant one."

    ...

    ...

    GASP!

    It awoke with a crash.

A planet had fallen directly on top of it, pulling the unsuspecting entity out of it''s deep slumber.

For the first time in it''s infinite life time...

    The Architect experienced anger.

"WHO WOULD DARE?" He roared, shedding the weak mortal body he had occupied.

Upon awakening, he could very easily feel the presence of creatures around him. He could feel their thoughts, his intuition pointing towards the leading entity.

It was a massive cosmic beast, the size of worlds.

But before such a domineering existence, it stood no chance.

The Architect did not take on it''s human form. It returned to it''s higher dimensional self.

It ignored all the rules of the Codes, doing as it pleased, unrestrained.

With but a thought, the cosmic creature faced a thousand deaths in one instant, each demise a hundred times worse than the last.

    The end result...

Was a sea of blood, guts, and death.

The astral void had been painted red in this small area, blood spanning across light years of length.

The Architect''s oppressive aura, made reality rumble.

With a deep, metaphysical breath, it was forced to calm itself.

Slowly, the pressure disappeared, as a human body materialized in the empty space.

It was a man, a calm demeanor plastered on his face.

In truth, the raging anger he felt, was almost...

    A pleasure.

He shook his head, looking at the mess of gore before him.

He truly didn''t think he was capable of such an emotional outburst, but in the end, it made sense to him.

The human composition clouded his judgement, and the contents of...

The dream his human mind had made...

He was fondly reliving his originating moments, replaying a dream he had never wanted to end.

Deep inside, he yearned for the same comfort he experienced at birth. He knew very well he could artificially recreate this feeling, with just a snap.

But it would never be the same.

Staring off into space, the Architect''s glowing eyes dimmed.

    "I understand." He spoke.

Slowly, a smirk creeped onto his face, as he turned around.

Some new ideas had emerged in his mind, and he found no reason not to bring them into existence.

"Now, there is only one reality. But in due time, there will be countless. If I choose to stick to the rudimentary senses, I should have... Those beneath me. Those capable of... Observing, and perhaps governing, beauty... Alongside me." His smile became slightly larger.

"I am the Architect... How about I create some Immortals? I like that name."

    ...

    ...

    ...

    <hr>

A banner was struck down into the earth, the visage of a man with an outstretched hand on it.

"The seventh world under our lords coalition! We have succeeded in adding another planet to our belt!" A human general resounded. Ibrahim observed the act from space, watching as the general shouted towards a sea of human soldiers.

The Architect himself examined this scene, taking the small moment to see how far Ibrahim had progressed.

Seven worlds under his belt. Two stars standing along side that.

Ibrahim had stepped onto the Astral Ladder, dipping his foot into the Code of Life.

The Architect could only give a commending nod.

Codes were a deep and expansive pathway of power.

They were hard to understand, hard to grasp, and even harder to perceive.

Codes were what wrote the rules of existence.

There was a Code for everything. The Code of Life presided over the functionality of living creatures. How they came into existence, the rules in which they operated, all sorts of things.

Understanding the Code of Life allowed for the manipulation of the area in which it pertained to.

Putting it into a percentage format, Ibrahim had understood less than a percent of the Code, but even that was powerful. With it, he was able to lace his magicules with Life Coding.

It reinforced his capabilities regarding healing, creation, and everything similar!

He could utilize far less magic, and come out with a far greater result.

But one magicule was all that was necessary to heal severed limbs!

And when he reached the fated, 10% comprehension?

He would be able to tamper with Life Coding itself!

He could create creatures out of nothing. He could render living things lifeless! He could heal those back from the brink of death! He could even puppeteer weaker life forms!

There was a vast amount of things that could be done through the use of Codes, and this path was necessary for astral entities.

Well that was the intent of course.

The Architect had already created a creature that stepped into the Astral Ladder without utilizing any Codes. Mal''Hades was a naturally born astral creature that relied on the overwhelming strength of dark aether.

It was not as powerful as Life Coding, but it was on par with some of the weaker Codes!

It was a well thought out system in the Architect''s eyes.

He refocused his attention, looking at the ball of swirling gold in his palms.

He stood beyond reality, presiding in the void outside of it. With a toss, he threw the golden orb forward, watching as it attached to the walls of reality.

With a burst of energy, the golden luster encompassed all of reality.

    Then.

    A voice.

"O'' my lord... I thank you for life." It was effeminate, ethereal as well.

Fate in this reality, was automated, a system that would work on it''s own.

    Now it had a governor.

"Maria, the Fate Controller." The Architect smiled.

He could see a new entrant in the Cosmic Order, a name filling second place.

This was the first true god of this reality, minus he, of course.
