“You must be joking..” La blurted out as she couldn’t believe her ears.


    Ca had lost her mind, what she was requesting was totally out of it. There was no way Nn was going to do that.


    “I’m serious, La,” Ca said, her voice firm. “Nn has to give me a child, and then you’ll be free to leave with Noelle. It’s the only way to protect everyone.”


    “You can’t be serious!” La said, shaking her head in disbelief. “Nn would never agree to this. You’re delusional.”


    Ca’s face turned dark, her eyes shing with anger.


    “I’m not delusional, and I’m not going to give up until I get what I want. You’d be wise to cooperate, or things could get very ugly.”


    ” You must be silly Ca… ” La snapped in anger.


    “Do I seem like I’m joking with you?” Ca raised a brow at her and then sheughed.


    “Nn is going to have sex with me.. ” she spelled out word by word for them to hear.


    “And then I’m going to get pregnant and bear his child..” she said proudly for them to hear.


    “You know that’s very absurd. There’s no way Nn is going to touch you. He’s married with a kid… ” La reminded, in case Ca was forgetting that fact.


    ” I know that La… ” Ca began. “But we both know that I’m supposed to be Nn’s Luna and the mother of his children, not you… ” she concluded as she looked like a scary witch with a burn on her face.


    ” Nn was never yours to begin with!! ” La wanted to scream at her repeatedly so that it would stick to get head. She didn’t get why Ca was so obsessed with a man who would never look her way.


    Nn had never harbored feelings for her, she was just a girl whom he felt the need to protect as her only family she had died saving him.


    He was basically her guardian after the death of her father.


    “Nn is my mate. He’s my life. He’s Noelle’s dad. I’m the only one he loves. We are the only family he has and he would never think of looking at another woman. So please Ca, give me my daughter. I beg you. La cried as Noelle was crying as well. Ca held her at gunpoint.


    “He was never yours La!!!” Ca yelled.


    “If you never had appeared in his life La. He would have married me and I would have ruled beside him…” she stated in a menacing tone.


    “Don’t you get it? He still wouldn’t have chosen you. Nn feels nothing for you..” La said painstakingly. Now she really wished Ca had died in that fire years ago, how did she even survive that? Then she prayed for the peace of her soul, but now She prayed that Ca would never find peace.


    “Look, Ca..” Nn began. Just get Noelle to go. We can talk this out. We can… ” he assured softly but Ca was not in for any of it.


    “No!!!” She would never agree with that.


    “I have prepared for all of that Nn..” she smiled.


    “There’s a bed inside and you’re going to f*ck me and make me pregnant. You’re going to nt your seed inside of me!!”


    “Have you lost your mind, Ca!!!!” La yelled, what was she even saying?


    “You shut up and don’t even try to utter a word here. If you do I’ll blow the brains of your precious daughter, now Nn… ” she directed her focus on Nn.


    ” Where were we? ” The corner of her lips curved up in a sinister smile.


    A cold sweat broke out on Nn’s forehead as he listened to Ca’s words. He could tell that she was serious, and he knew that he had to do whatever she said if he wanted to protect La and Noelle. But at the same time, he couldn’t imagine touching Ca. It was simply not an option.


    Ca’s gaze never left Nn’s face, and he could feel her eyes boring into him.


    “So?” she asked, her voice low and threatening. “What’s your answer?”


    Nn swallowed hard, feeling as if he were on the verge of a nervous breakdown.


    ” Your daughter or not. You f*ck me and take your daughter. Chose the clock is ticking… “She said, Ca’s thought was that if she bore Nn’s child, he was going to take her in. Every man loved their children.


    “Ca you know I can’t do that. I’m married..” Nn tried reasoning with her, but she suddenly pulled the trigger and pointed the gun at Noelle.


    “Your daughter or me??*


    ” Alright, Alright. I’ll do it… ” Nn epted without a second thought. He loved his daughter a lot and would do anything for her. He could go as far as dying for Noelle and La.


    However, he knew he was going to hate himself after it and would never be able to look at La or even touch her. He needed to save Noelle.

    “Daddy..” Noelle called as she hugged her father, the moment he came near them. La was behind them, crying her eyes out.


    “Noelle my dear are you okay?” He asked wiping off the tears on her face but Ca abruptly dragged Noelle roughly away from Nn.


    “Daddy!!!” She cried as she was being pulled away from her father.


    “Let her go this instant, Ca. You’re hurting my daughter..” Nn warned in a menacing tone. A murderous glint was evident in his eyes.


    “Don’t hurt her and let’s get done with whatever you want” he said with disgust.


    “Good!!” Ca giggled happily as she let go of Noelle and went to hold Nn’s arm out of her happiness. Seeing Noelle was away from Ca, he seized that opportunity and hit the gun out of her hand as it fell on the ground.


    “Mommy!!” Noelle screamed as she began to run to her mother in fear, and then she fell to the ground.


    “Elle..” Nn and La screamed out in concern as their daughter fell to the ground.


    Ca who was just recovering from the impact that Nn used hitting her hand, her eyes caught the gun, then she picked it up without Nn noticing as he was focused on Noelle and she quickly aimed at Noelle.


    “I wanted you.. ” she gritted her teeth and then pulled the trigger right at Noelle.


    A loud gunshot was heard and everywhere suddenly began quiet.


    Noelle was wrapped tightly in La’s arm and she seemed to have lost consciousness.


    But then, blood was seeping out of La’s chest as her own body was covered with blood.


    Her eyes were still open but one could see life leaving them slowly as they held nothing but pain. She took the bullet for Noelle.
