Nn felt his veins pop out and he suddenly became so pissed. Everyone was shocked. It was so hard to believe, why was La In bed with another man?

    “What the…” La’s voice trailed off as she took in her surroundings, the scene before her eyes. She saw Nn standing over the guard, who was clearly injured. She saw the rage in Nn’s eyes, the hurt and betrayal.


    “What’s going on?” she asked, her voice shaky and uncertain. She felt disoriented, like she had just woken up from a nightmare. She was seated on a bed and everyone had this sullen look on their faces.

    “You’re awake,” he said, his voice hoarse.

    “What’s going on here? Why’s everyone so quiet?” She asked, still oblivious of what was going on.


    “quit with the acting La! ” Ca snapped at her angrily. It seemed like La was working whatever magic she had on Nn who was supposed to have already hit her. That was what she expected.

    Ca looked at her, and she felt motivated to go on, after seeing Nn’s reaction.

    “You should have done better than this La. I mean Nn loves you so much and you did this to him. You are having an affair with his guard!!” Ca spelled out, her voice loud and clear.


    La’s breath hitched, she didn’t know what to say or do or even defend herself.


    ” It’s a lie, I don’t know what you’re talking about and I’m not having an affair with anybody. Nn we should talk.. ” she looked at Nn with pleading eyes but not even once did he spare her a nce.


    “You expect me to believe that? Do you expect us to believe that? We all saw it! You were in an intimate position with this guard” Ca scoffed, her eyes hard.

    Nn remained silent, his eyes fixed on the ground. La felt her heart breaking, knowing she had lost his trust.

    Aurora’s face flushed red with anger. She knew Ca was just trying to get a reaction out of her, and she was ready to give her a befitting reply.


    She was worried about La, and she knew she had to do something to help her. Because she was in trouble now.

    She wanted him to believe her to believe that she would never stoop so low.


    “Darren take La back to the room..” he instructed.


    ” Don’t step out till I tell you too.. ” he said to La, his voice indifferent.


    “Come with me..” Darren muttered as he began to walk away with La.
