Ca poured some powdery contents into a cup of juice, and she mixed it smiling wickedly.


    It was high time La left this house, and this time Ca had not nned to hurt her but Nn would throw her out by himself.


    “Hey..e here..” she gged down a maid who was passing by as she handed over the cup of juice to her.


    It was Keissha’s party, the one La gas organized for her. La was having fun and Ca was sure to ruin that fun.


    “Give this to the queen instead..” she instructed the maid who stared at her suspiciously.


    The maid looked at Ca, her expression hesitant.


    “Are you sure you want me to give it to the queen?” She asked, confused. La had ashed her for a cup of juice.


    Ca smiled, trying to reassure the maid.


    “I’m sure, La prefers mango juice, not orange juice. Trust me, she’ll love it.” Ca tried to convince her.


    The maid still looked uncertain, but she reluctantly took the cup and began to walk towards La.


    Ca watched her go, feeling a twinge of excitement.


    It was finally happening, the day she’ll finally throw La out of the house.


    The corner of her lips curved up in a sinister smile as she watched La drink the contents of the juice.


    Ca watched as La sipped the juice, savoring every moment. She knew that what she was doing was cruel, but she didn’t care.


    She watched La and when she noticed that she was starting to act strange, she approached her.


    “La, are you okay?” She asked, holding La who looked up at her.


    “I’m fine..” La replied, releasing herself from Ca’s hold.


    “Where’s Nn?” La asked, looking around the room. Keisha was speaking with Aurora and some friends but Nn was nowhere to be found.


    “He’s probably busy. You look stressed, you should get some rest..” Ca faked some sincerity to La who was feeling a splitting headache.


    La wasn’t convinced. She knew that something was wrong, that something was very, very wrong. But she couldn’t put her finger on it. She felt a wave of nausea wash over her, and she began to feel lightheaded.


    “I… I need to go to my room,” she said, struggling to stand up. “I… I don’t feel well.”


    “Are you sure you’re okay?” Ca asked, her voice full of fake concern.


    “Do you need me to get a doctor?”


    La shook her head, trying to fight back the feeling of panic that was rising within her.


    “No need. Get me to my room and tell Nn to meet me there..” Ca shook her head as she began to help La up the stairs.


    “It must be because of your pregnancy..” she said as they got to the hallways.


    ” Yes, I..” La’s voice trailed off. She could feel herself slowly losing consciousness.


    She felt dizzy and it was as if she would pass out soon.


    Ca smiled in contentment on seeing that the drug was already having its effects on La.


    La’s vision began to blur, and she could feel herself slipping away. She tried to call out for help, but no sound came out. She could feel herself sinking into a dark, bottomless pit, and she knew she wouldn’t be able to climb out.


    Ca watched as La’s eyes closed, her body going limp. She felt a rush of adrenaline, a sense of power and control.


    Smiling contentedly, she dragged La into a room.


    No one was around, everyone was having fun at the little party La had organized.


    It would take time before they realized she had gone missing.


    Out from the closet, a guard emerged.


    “Stay beside her and hold her tight. Make sure to make it look like you guys are a couple..” she instructed the guard who shook his head.


    ” Once Nnes in, tell him that La forced you into this and that you both have been having an affair for so long now.. ” she instructed Jake. The guard she had paid to help her excited her evil ns.


    ” Okay… ” Jake replied.


    ” Good, once you hear voices. You know what to do… ” Ca smiled as she spared a nce at La who was lying unconsciously on the bed.


    There was no way Nn was going to forgive her after seeing this. He’ll definitely throw her out


    She gave Jake a thumbs up before leaving the room.


    As she headed back downstairs, she heard someone call her name and she turned to see Nn.


    “Hi, Nn..” she smiled fixing her hair. A wide and seductive smile formed in her face.


    “Have you seen La?” Nn asked, going straight to the point. She was not downstairs and he had been searching for her.


    “No, I don’t think so..” Ca denied shrugging her shoulders.


    “Nn, can you find her?” Keisha approached them with Aurora, they all had worry etched in their faces.


    “No, I can’t find her..” Nn replied. Now he was getting really worried.


    “Have you tried calling her? I’ll call her..” Aurora volunteered but Nn stopped her.


    “No need. Her cell phone is right here with me”


    Aurora’s eyebrows furrowed, a look of concern on her face. “What do you mean, her phone is with you? Why is she not carrying it?”


    “I have no idea.” Nn replied. “I found it on the table in the dining room.”


    “That’s strange.” Keisha said, her eyes narrowing. “You don’t think something has happened to her, do you?”


    “I don’t know,” Nn said, his voice full of worry. “I’m getting concerned.”


    “We should ask the guards to search for her. Maybe she went somewhere. Ti gets something maybe..” Keisha reasoned but La wasn’t the type to just disappear.

    Nn and Keisha both looked at each other, their faces filled with concern. But they agreed with Ca, and they all headed upstairs to check the rooms.


    As they went from room to room, they didn’t find La anywhere. They were beginning to panic, the worry growing with each passing moment.


    Finally, when they reached thest room, they opened the door with thest glimmer of hope on them. And lo and behold La was there.


    On the bed, she was not alone, she was with a man. A guard precisely and they were both in a very intimate position.


    Nn felt his whole being wash away on seeing his wife in bed with another woman.
