Everyone turned in surprise to see who had fallen to the ground as they all heard a loud thud.


    Lying on the ground was Ca as she bent her head in shame. She just couldn’t believe that La had the guts to push her to the ground.


    “What’s going on here?” Nn demanded as he approached them. He looked at La, who was standing there defiantly, and then at Ca, who was still on the ground, her face red with embarrassment.


    “La are you alright?” Nn asked as he held La affectionately checking her body for any sign of injury. He sighed in relief when he found none.


    “I’m good…” La muttered softly. She would have been the one in the ground but thank goodness she was smart enough to put Ca in her ce.


    If she had fallen, she would have definitely hit the ground with her stomach and that would have been very disastrous for her baby.


    And when Ca ced her leg in the way, La had seen it, so she pushed Ca instead. She should get what she deserves.


    “You should be more careful, you’re pregnant!” Nn reminds, having a worried look on his face.


    Ca felt her face burn in anger as she clenched her fists tight.


    She was the one on the ground, not La.


    But Nn was busy sympathizing with La. He didn’t even spare a nce at her.


    Ca’s frustration increased as everyone ignored her while sheid down. In shame.


    She was the one who had been hurt, and yet it was like everyone was ignoring her. It was like no one cared about what had happened to her. All they cared about was La, who hadn’t even been hurt. It was so unfair!


    “I can’t believe this,” Ca muttered, tears welling up in her eyes. “No one even cares that I’m hurt. They’re all just focused on La.” She sobbed trying to y a victim.


    La’s eyes narrowed as Ca changed her contenance. She was being so sarcastic a while ago.


    “How did this happen?” Nn asked as he signaled for a guard toe help Ca stand up from the ground.


    Ca even got angrier, he didn’t touch her but sent a guard to do so.


    “I think it was an ident..” La responded softly.


    “You should be more careful La, you’re pregnant!” He said with worry in his voice.


    “I know..” La muttered, butterflies filling her stomach at the affection Nn was showing towards her. She was not even hurt.


    La was ttered by the concern in Nn’s voice.


    “How about we get you checked out by a doctor, just to be safe?” Nn suggested, his brow furrowed with worry.


    “No there’s no need..” La shook her head.


    “I’m fine. I didn’t fall to the ground. Ca did..” They both turned to Ca who looked so angry.


    Nn didn’t utter a sorry to her but yet he suggested taking La to the doctor. She wasn’t even hurt.


    ‘ you’ll pay for this La…’ she swore inwardly.


    Ca felt a surge of anger and resentment as she watched La and Nn interact.


    She felt like she was being ignored and overlooked, even though she was the one who was hurt.


    She thought about how she could get back at La, and her mind immediately went to revenge. She started thinking of ways to make La pay for what she had done.


    “You should see a doctor too..” Nn said to Cara.


    “You’ve got to be kidding me Nn!!” Ca who couldn’t hold back her anger anymore blurted out.


    “What?”


    “I fell to the ground, not La!!!” Ca yelled.


    “But you focused your attention on her and didn’t even spare a nce at me, neither did you care to even lift me up off the ground. I’m Ca Nn!!!” She cried as she faked her sobs.


    Before La came into their lives, Nn always made sure nothing happened to her.


    “She’s my mate Ca. What are you even saying?” Nn scoffed. La was his first priority.


    “Mate my foot!!!” Ca screamed, gaining the attention of everyone in the room.


    “What’s even special about her? She’s a weak human….”


    “Ca that’s enough!!” Nn snapped at her in an angry voice as everywhere reigned with silence.


    “Thest thing I’ll tolerate from you is you calling my queen weak. The night time you utter such a word, it would be considered as sphemy against the throne and you know what that means, don’t let me remind you” he stated warning Ca and everyone who will ever dare to call La weak in the future just because she was human.


    “La is your queen, so show some respect. The next time, I’ll not overlook the fact that you’re Ca and punish you severely..” he threatened as he turned to the guard.


    “Take Ca to the hospital. I think she’s drunk!” Nn said in sarcasm as he shot a re at her.


    “You all can return to the party…” he announced as everyone returned to what they were doing.


    “Come on..” he tugged La as he held her hand.
