Secret History scripture: The first mention of our lord
It is often debated how the birth came to pass or if our lord was always there, yet I saw it that day as I screamed myself raw and nearly bled to death, tearing my flesh I often wonder if my sight was only granted to bare witness to his birth that day, would things have been different if I did not look, yet it doesn’t matter we are here, and so is our lord.
The first passage from the seer
“Disgusting,” he sneered, looking upon the vast field of death, the smell, the taste, it was all vile. He hated every minute he had walked upon this ruined earth…
Exasperated, he focused on why he was here, to kill, not sightsee he looked among the ash that was the ruins of the fields they called him to save this town, but it had long since passed he could smell the death among the rot.
He sensed more, then saw the beast among the corpses, not even trying to hide …
Three burning buildings down from where he entered to the right, he was surprised not by the pile of corpses but by the beast, it was bowing in prayer… they had no god… there was only the god of light…
He studied the beast it was a vile thing like all its kin this one seemed to try to bathe itself in the flesh of the dead. He was still a ways away from the beast, at least a few dozen yards, but he could hear it speak, which surprised him he thought them all mindless, and how did it know their speech…
“ShE SaW U ShE SaW U So WhY ArE U NoT WiTh Us?” the beast spoke. It was weeping while saying those words, sicking how far its madness went… as it pawed at the body’s pleading for an answer for its madness, yet none was forthcoming.
He rushed the beast to end this farce; it did not even try to move as he cleanly sliced its head he sighed this was too much death for that creature there had to be something more… he pondered.
“That poor creature just wanted to be loved.” A velvet voice spoke from behind he swung to strike while jumping back there was nothing?!
“You strike unprovoked yet call us demons…” it mused
He looked for the one with the voice but all he saw was ruin and ash… unless… he turned to look at the mounds of flesh stacked as body and saw her….it…whatever…
She was a strange mold of various flesh mixed with the dead he risk a glance to the side warry to let this flesh move from his sight, and noticed tendrils among the ground with various mouths smiling.
“You noticed? smart boy, not them.” It spoke gleefully
“That poor beast just came to bear witness.” Vile as it was, he was morbidly curious they had never spoken before.
She saw him watching, and all the mouths laughed:” They screamed, they all did I watched them all the same. “The voice was almost enchanting with how sicking sweet it was, an odd contrast to the vile thing before him as the mound shifted.
Among the flesh of the dead was a slug?! It uses the bodies as a shell and slithers forward all the vines of mouths pulling on the dirt ash to help move the mass of its rotten flesh.
He tried to rush from the side, but it turned freely despite its mass, more a worm or snake in nature than an unmoving mass.
He jerked back, avoiding it, but it was a few yards from him the bodies it wore among its mass sang in chorus, “ I watched them! They screamed!” it said excitedly.
He risked a slash cutting into the mound but missing the slug beast itself. Surprisingly, they still screamed, and it thrashed.
It tried to swing the mouth vines at him, spewing some vile but he dodged and slashed them easily.
It was panicking now it was used to things suffering and rotting it gorges on so much flesh… why was this one different? Why did it not scream? The slug was desperate to know.
It tried to move away and to flee this was supposed to be a new home safe and free a new land of death! So why won’t he scream?
He was annoyed he thought anything of this monster…that the overgrown beast was a threat.

The thing was just a mockery of what the light stood for the fact it knew some human speech was not meaningful as he kept slashing and it kept screaming. slowly it bled and slowly the screams faded it was over…. He was relieved
He wasn’t tired, at least not physically just disgusted he wished to purify this land soon, the better.
He was not so heartless he did not care this town fell to rot… they knew the risk this deep into the dark lands they got to use to people like him keeping it safe.
He opened the pouch at his side and had a small shiny crystal he tossed it at the flesh mound that was the slug beast, and everywhere the crystal touched the rot fleed.
Ir turned to black smoke where it landed the ground was dirt once more, and slowly grass grew and everywhere it went it slowly ate away the darkness of ash and rot.
He wanted to breathe deep in relief yet he could not let too much of the rot fill his lungs and poison him like the others…
That is probably what the stupid beast meant. She poisoned the land cuasing them to rot and she feasted while they screamed…
Pity the stupid beast did not know I carried those crystals to help purify myself and the land… he coughed tsk seem the poison was stronger than I knew…
Blood was upon his lips as he was away from the crystal and the poisons were now affecting him… seem he was no smarter than this town if he was already acting so careless in the face of death.
He went to the small area now a few yards purified and felt the healing immediately he watched as the rot slowly faded. Years he had been at this, they were nearly done…
How many times did he hunt and kill them they were getting closer to winning he knew it this was their last stronghold of random resistance…
Just got pushed a little more they’re getting stronger but not many left, we got this.
He tried strengthening his resolve it seemed the years were catching up with him if this event managed to shake him.
Blood dripped from his nose, surprising him as he felt it burn, leaving him then to ash where it fell upon the land.
Confused he touched his hand upon his face to see that the blood was black…
That made no sense? Yet a pain stabbed his heart as he coughed more blood that still burning while it fell upon the land pain…so much pain, why?! I’m in the healing light.
Was the poison that strong? He tried to focus and heard something break like the shattering of glass.
He thought the world had shattered but as he reached out with a hand to find some form of stability he noticed his fingers slowly dropping in sections like teardrops upon the earth.
Despite the pain and the absurdity of it all, he couldn’t look away he was falling apart like rain. piece by piece, unto the earth
and everywhere the fallen flesh touched upon the earth, it burned as if he was a rot it was trying to cleanse even in that broken form that was him it cared not.
He tried to move and that was the final crack that shattered him whole as he crashed into the earth and burned as a whole once more even as everything he was laid in pieces.
He tried to focus with a thought, a scream, a prayer, yet all was lost; nothing would come but the pain.
The world slowly shifted and he spun deeper into the earth the abyss swallowing him whole he would have despaired if it did not free him from the pain, a random blessing in this endless nightmare.
The voice spokes random, chaotic, offering him love, prayer blessing… yet among them, the loudest seemed to say the oddest words, “wE ArE U… U ArE Us EmBrAcE ArE LuV OuR LoRd” meaningless, he thought.
He instead sunk deeper into the darkness it was odd to feel so…free. He always found comfort in the light it was his him the blessing the chirches the light…
He remembered it burned and flinched away the light hurt him it rejected him but why? Even after all these years of hunting darkness for the light, it was the darkness that set him free.
Embraced him as a lover and consoled him where the light tore him “free and tried to burn him away… JuS AsK Of uS LoRd U Will. Be dOn a garble of words but one made clear they wanted me to ask, and they would give….
He had no desire he already had his wish free from the pain that was the light… no. why would he want to be away from the light?
He felt formless as if he was nothing, and he wanted to exist who was he before? What was he doing? Did he really care? A calm, steady voice that surprised he spoke as clear as day and with a voice feminine but clear.
“The problem with the beast is they will break that which they love and not think twice.”
“Even when it the only thing they ever wanted…” he was not sure where the voice came from as he felt and saw only the darkness yet asked all the same. “ Um… =who are you?” a gently laugh dance among the abyss
“No need to be humble we serve you, not the other way around. you but need to ask and it be done.”
“As to your question, I’m but one of many who saw your birth “
“You’re fragile so close to breaking “
“I’m trying to help your mind find its way”
“ where the beast only knows how to consume “
“ I want to show a different path.”
“Not all that walk among the dark are mindless “
“It was how you were birthed this day.” Many words were spoken, and none of them made any sense, so he asked, “What happened to me?” he wanted answers, not riddles.
“Forgive me, that was cruel, lord “
“Your creation was born from chaos so that is what you are given form and why you are lost”
“I was trying to help guide your mind back “
“the beast just wanted to worship what you are but you’re too fragile and close to breaking”
“I fear even I may be too late I cannot reach you beyond my voice” he wasn’t sure how but he felt her weeping, when he tried pushing his will, he could see amongst the darkness who she was surprising him.
“She was an elf? No darkness was surrounding her drow? He never paid attention to other races focused on killing beasts and demons letting others deal with their own kind.
He saw her collapse breathing hard he was indifferent but she said she was trying to help him. He believed that should be rewarded vs ignored.
So with a thought, he willed what little he knew for to reach her it was odd watching the shadows dance upon her flesh she shivered and sighed with relief and slept before his eyes it seemed trying to reach him was more of a strain than he knew.
He felt their connection grow distant, and this feeling of being nothing faded in a moment, giving way to the birth of a light showing him the world once more, he was reborn.
