Chapter 408 Why Are You Still Up So Late

''Should I teach Sean a lesson? Will he get even naughtier if I don''t?''

Ca had pondered the whole night. She wanted to get back at her brother for being such a brat.

That way, he wouldn''t dare to expose her secrets anymore.

Then an idea shed in Ca''s mind.

She stayed up the whole night in order to piece together the love letter that was torn up by her brother.

Childish? Yes. But she saw that it was a great way to teach him a lesson.

Terence smiled in amusement as he watched his woman taking on a teenage boy seriously.

    "So are you finished yet?"

Terence asked, trying to stop a chuckle froming out of his mouth.

Was this their kind of fun?

Ca was Sean''s only family ever since their parents died, making them close with each other. One of

their unique ways of getting along was exposing each other''s secrets.

Terence approached her and watched her trying to piece the letter together. It must have been difficult

for her since Sean hadpletely ripped it to tiny shreds.

"Whew! I am almost done! Uhm...you won''tugh at me, will you, Terence?" Ca looked at him with

puppy eyes and chewed her lips. Since she was already an adult, she was getting nervous for doing

    something childish.

"Well, I am just thinking if you''ll do the same thing if we have a son someday and a girl sends him a

    love letter,"

Terence smiled in amusement and sat down. Then he picked up the book that covered the love letter to

    see her progress.

It seemed clear to him that she wouldn''t be sleeping a wink until she had pieced them all together.

"Terence, I won''t treat my son the same way as I do my brother. Besides, when we have a teenage

son, I won''t be as young anymore. Do you think that I will do such childish things by that time?"

Ca rolled her eyes and handed him some of the pieces. She ordered him, "You. You''d better help

    me."

Terence only shook his head and helped her put the pieces together. A smile was present on his lips as

    he worked on them.

What the hell was he even doing right now? He never imagined himself piecing together a love letter

addressed to his brother-inw. Not to mention, a love letter given by a teenage girl! ''Ah, young love, ''

    Terence thought to himself.

Once he was finished, he sat on the sofa and leaned his head on his hands. He smiled while he

watched Ca who was reading the love letter with glee.

"Dear Mr. Sean Ji, I am Emmy Tong from the ssroom beside yours."

Terence didn''t expect that the girl called Sean in such an implicit way.

"Do you remember that I cheered all the way for you at thest athletic meet? Every time you y

basketball at the gym, I would be there and watch you y.

I want to tell you my real feelings. I like you very much. I decided to write this letter to you when I finally

had the courage. Please don''tugh at me!

If it''s possible, could you please go to the amusement park with me this Saturday afternoon? I really

hope that I can have a memorable day with you."

Ca snickered and took a photo of the letter using her phone. She finished reading the letter full of

    satisfaction.

"So, have you finished reading it? Can we sleep now? It''s reallyte."

Terence stood up from the sofazily and looked at Ca. Ca hid the love letter in a book and ced

    it on the shelf.

"Very well then. Time to get some sleep!" Ca enthusiastically pped her hands. Now she was sure,

    Sean won''t be mischievous anymore.

She turned around and slipped her arm under Terence''s as they walked towards the bedroom.

"My sweetie, I want you to promise me."

Ca looked at him with a questioning look. "Promise you what?"

"Please don''t tell Sean that I helped you piece that love letter together. Otherwise, I will be an

    embarrassing brother-inw for him."

Terence rubbed his temple as he spoke.

They discussed it as they were walking.

The next morning, Ca got up early. She stretched, feeling refreshed and pleased. All content is ? N0velDrama.Org.

    "Good morning, Sean!"

    "Good morning, Ca!"

The Ji siblings greeted each other.

Ca poured herself a cup of milk and sat opposite Sean, who was busy munching on a sandwich.

"Sean, do you know a girl named Emmy?"

"Huh? Who? You mean, Emmy? Is her full name Emmy Tong?" Sean took a bite of his sandwich. He

finished chewing his food before he spoke again, "How do you know about her?"

"It doesn''t matter how I found out about her. I''ll ask. Do you know her well?" Ca gave a sly look at

Sean. She raised her eyebrows and smiled mischievously.

"Ah, I just met her in school. She usually watches me y basketball and her ssroom is just next to

mine. What about it?" Sean took a gulp of his milk. He was puzzled why his sister was suddenly asking

    him about Emmy.

The truth is, he hadn''t read the love letter Ca found yesterday. Emmy never wrote any letters to him

before so he didn''t know what she actually thought about him.

"Ah, but do you know that she invited you to go to the amusement park this Saturday?" Ca only kept

her smile, not letting him out of her sight.

Sean stopped eating and fell silent.

He just sat there frozen. Then he came into a realization. He quickly ran to the garbage can where he

threw the love letter yesterday. "Ca! Did you look at my letter? Why did you do that?

You are such a big fat meanie!"

Ca couldn''t help but pound on the table as she burst into a fit ofughter. "Really now? Hello? Who''s

the mean one here? I didn''t tell anybody that you peed into the tea cup of our neighbour when you

were little. I''ve always been nice to you and kept your dirty little secrets. Have you forgotten about

    them?"

"Ugh. I have nothing to say."

Ca had left Sean speechless. He was around five years old at that time. He was too young to realize

    that he made a mistake.

"Sean, you must remember that I am still your big sister! No matter how old you are and where you end

up, I will always be your sister. Even if you get married and have children one day, I am still responsible

    for you.

And if you try to tell my secrets to others and show no respect to me again, this is what will happen. I

will tell everything to your future wife."

Ca spoke in a firm voice. Then she drank her milk.

Sean went silent for a while. Suddenly, he pulled on her clothes. "Ca, please forgive me! I know I

made such a stupid mistake! Please don''t take it too seriously. After all, you''re still the one who treats

me the best in the world."

"Good for you to know that." Ca raised an eyebrow at him and got a piece of fresh dragon fruit from

the bowl on the table. Then she saw Sean stretching out his hand to her. She gave him a puzzled look.

    "What are you doing?"

"Ca, please give me the letter,"

Sean replied. He was afraid that if she kept it, she would use it as ckmail for the rest of his life.

"Sorry, no can do. I have thrown it away after I had taken a photo. I don''t have it anymore." She kept a

    calmposure as she blinked.

Then she took out her phone and showed him the picture. "I bet you would like to know what she had

written. Come here, little brother. Check out what she had written. I am pretty sure this picture is clear

    enough for you!"

She looked through the album to find the picture. Then she tapped on it when she found it and showed

    it to Sean.

Sean took her phone and read the letter. After a while, a blush crept up on his cheeks. He never felt so

    embarrassed.

    "Oh my!"

Ca exploded intoughter again, covering her face with her arms on the table. She rarely saw this

shy side of Sean. This was getting interesting!

"Ca, I know you well. I know you are keeping it somewhere! Please give it back to me!" Sean

stretched his hand again to ask for the letter. He knew very well that Ca would keep it to threaten

    him.

"Sean, receiving love letters is a normal thing. Don''t sweat it! People have various ways of

understanding love in different stages of life. Think of it like levels in a video game. You start from the

first level and then you level up. So, liking someone ispletely normal, not embarrassing."

After making fun of him, Ca was still responsible for educating Sean about love.

"Ca, please. I don''t feel the same way. Please give it back to me," Sean pleaded.

Ca ignored his plea. She finished her breakfast quickly and stood up. "Oh my God! Look at the time.

I have to go out now to try on my wedding dress. I''ll deal with this after Ie back this evening."

Sean just sat down in silence. He opened his mouth to say something but stopped and watched her

    walk away.

Morning sunlight spread throughout the yard and warmed up everyone.

Rainer was washing the car since he had free time. Next to him, Nathan was reporting about thetest

progress of thepany to Terence under the shade.

Since Terence''s wedding day was fast approaching, Terence didn''t have enough time to stay in the

Terence signed the document after reading it. Then he spoke with Nathan about work.

After finishing his workload, he looked up and saw Ca working happily.

Ca had rolled up her sleeves, preparing to help Rainer wash the car. The warm sunlight shone on

    her elegant face.
