Chapter 27 The feeling called Jealousy
After the photo shoot were done, Elle headed directly to James''pany. They was going to be a
presentation concerning a new business venture bothpanies were nning to go into.
Elle smirked as she drove when she remembered the next day was going to be James'' birthday.
She brought out her phone and then dailed Damien''s number. He answered the call immediately.
"Yes pretty.."
"Dam, stop trailing James.." Elle suddenly said and Damien sighed.
"I thought we agreed on this. Trailing can actually help us, we can even find more on his illegal
businesses in the country and also who is his partners are. I''m sure you know he''s not working alone.."
He said immediately.
Elle smiled.
"I know but as we all know, James is a very smart man. He might catch on youter and that''s thest
thing I want right now. Our identities can be revealed and moreover, tomorrow I''m going to be nting
those CCTV cameras in his house..."
"But, it''s dangerous. Why don''t I do it?" Damien asked and Elle smirked.
"I can actually try. But you are right. I''ll make sure to distract those at the party while you nt thetv
cameras. Tomorrow is going to be a sweet day for me.." She chuckled and Damienughed.

"Can you also get a gift for my fake dad inw, I will Tyson''s fake girlfriend soon, you know.." She said
and they bothughed.
"What kind of gift do you want?"
"I want a dangerous but exquisite gift for him.." She said and smirked.

increased the speed of the car.

Elle knocked on the door and walked in. The board members were already there. It was obvious the
meeting had already started.
"I''m so sorry for beingte.." She said and sat down right opposite to Jason. He looked at her and their
eyes met. She simply smiled at him while he nodded. Unknown to her, Tyson was in the room already
but she didn''t notice. Tyson red at Jason angrily as he watched the both of them intract through their
gazes and smiles. He was literally burning with jealousy.
The meeting went on and on until it finally ended. Soon all the board members were gone excluding
James, Tyson, Jason and Elle.
"So, Governor, should I wish you a happy birthday in advance..'' Elle smiled and they all chuckled
except Jason who was busy with his phone.
"I''m sure you are aware of my birthday party tomorrow. You shouldn''t miss it, Miss Browns.." James
said and stood up.
"Of course not, I will definitely not miss it for anything, governor.." Elle smiled.
"Ah! Yes!"
"That reminds me, Miss Brown. Can you and Jason go do the sight seeing tomorrow. I won''t have time
to go because of the preparations.." James said and Jason looked up.
He was about to reply but Tyson beat him to it.
"Dad, do you think it''s necessary to disturb Jason. I heard him saying he had a business meeting
tomorrow, so no need to disturb him. I''ll go in his stead, right bro?" Tyson said with a smile.
"Oh! Jason, is that true?" James asked.
Elle looked at both brothers wondering what was going on.
Jason scanned Tyson''s face and he realised his intentions. He was doing that so he could time alone
with Elle.
Suddenly Jason smirked.
"No, It''s perfectly fine, Dad. I don''t have a business meeting tomorrow. It''s the day after my birthday. I''m
sure Tyson heard it wrong.." Jason lied and Tyson''s eyes widened in surprise.

"Dad, no worries. I will go with Miss Browns.." Jason said and took his eyes to Elle. Elle smiled and he
returned it also while Tyson clenched his fists angrily.
He doesn''t understand why he gets angry when Elle and his brother interact. What more if they stay
close to each other?
"But Dad.."
"No buts, Tyson. We have work here. Don''t forget your brother has hispanies to attend to. This
company is yours to attend to and there are lots of work to be done. So never mind, Jason will go.."
James said and Tyson forced out a smile.
"Since everything is settled now. I really have to go. I''m going shopping with Ma''am Lauren and I
wouldn''t want to keep her waiting..'' Elle said and grabbed her bag and then she walked out with her
heels clicking.
"I have to go too, Dad. See you..'' Jason said and made to walk out but his father voice''s stopped him.
"You must attend my birthday party tomorrow. You are not always around on my birthday.." He said and
Jason clenched his fists tightly before turning to him.
"Dad, I''ll.. I''ll try toe.." Jason said and walked out.
He sighed as he did. He knew what his father was trying to do. He was definitely trying to remind him of
the ugly thing that happened.
He got to his car and as he made to open it. A voice stopped him again.
Jason scoffed and turned back to see Tyson. Tyson walked to him with a smile one voumd easily tell
was fake.
"What?" Jason asked bluntly.
"I''m sure I heard you clearly. The business meeting is going to take ce tomorrow.." Tyson smirked
and Jason scoffed.
"So?"
"Why did you do that then?"
"It''s none of your business.." Jason said and made to open his car.
"Do you like her? Do you like my girlfriend?" Tyson asked and Jason scoffed, preventing himself from
laughing.
"Your girlfriend?!"
"Well, If that''s what you are thinking, then so be it. I actually don''t want to waste my time. See you
when I see you.." Jason said and then opened his car''s door and entered it.

Jason sighed and picked up his phone and then dailed his secretary''s number.
"Postpone tomorrow''s conference.." He said.
"What? But sir, I.. "
"I organized the conference right? So postpone it and if you argue with me again consider 20% of your
sry gone.." Jason said and hing up.
He sighed again and rested his head on the sterling.
"Gosh! Why did I do that? Why was I angry at the fact that Tyson was going alone with Elle? That
shouldn''t concern me but .." He paused again and then started the ignition.
