During my duties as a guard for Warden Kira, I had to witness some truly gruelling sights. During my working time, I refined the plan and told it to my friends as they fully embraced it. I was inside of the office with the warden and we were drinking a sparkling purple drink that was in an expensive glass bottle that was poured into glasses for us to drink. Byne, Jakob and Linc were in the cafeteria. They were planning out how to make a fight.
“Are you sure this is going to work?” asks Jakob.
“I honestly have no idea,” said Byne. Byne had managed to get two tomato soups that he had Jakob make. Tomato soups are not normally made at the prison. Byne’s plan was to give one soup to Mickestro and then toss the other onto some random idiot. That would get the two to fight and then it should distract the warden and her guards. Byne walked over to Mickestro with one bowl of soup in his hand.
“Here,” said Byne.
“Here?” says Mickestro.
“I want to be friends,” said Byne. “I made some soup for you.”
“I don’t want your soup!” he said.
“Just try it!” said Byne. He plopped the soup on the table and handed him a spoon. Mickestro was startled and just started to eat it. Byne went back to Jakob and grabbed the other one and found a buff alien, the size of Mickestro and tossed it on him. Byne ran off and that guy turned around and noticed Mickestro eating that same soup. He came over to Mickestro and grabbed the bowl and smashed it into his face. Mickestro got up and everyone started to laugh.
“What was that for?” asks Mickestro as he punches the guy in the face.
“What do you mean?” he said. “You splashed your soup on me!”
The two of them started to fight in a violent fist fight. Some of the other aliens joined in and it changed into a full on war inside of the cafeteria. Guards came in and were unable to stop the fight. Jakob, Linc and Byne ran towards a corner.
…
Kira was speaking about my work as a guard when suddenly a guard rushed in.
“Warden, ma’am.” said the guard. “There is a massive fight in the cafeteria. Our guards have even been knocked down.”
“What!” said Kira. “Proxima. Stay here. I will address this fight myself.”

Kira got up from her desk and went with all of the guards, leaving me alone in the office. Kira and the guards went to the fight. They broke up the fight by sending all of the inmates to solitary or back to their cells. While they were distracted, I quickly grabbed the scalpel into my pocket. Kira walked back in and sat down at her desk.
“I apologise for that. I don’t think I have much to say, Proxima.” said Kira. “I dismiss you. Head back to your cell. Have a good night''s sleep.”
“Yes, ma’am.” I said. I walked back to my cell and went to bed as the skies became super dark. I pulled out my scalpel and shaved the marking off. I then took my keycard and opened the door as I walked right through the cell. I sneaked through the halls of the cellblock and found Linc’s cell. I opened it and awoke him. I took out the scalpel and removed his markings.
“Prox.” he said.
“Hey.” I said. “Come on, let’s wake the others,”
I grabbed him and we went around to Jakob who was sleeping on the wall that we had told him to wait on.
“Let’s go.” I whispered. Jakob awoke and we sneaked to Byne’s cell, where we woke him up. I removed Byne’s markings as well. The four of us walked through as saw a guard patrolling the halls. He had a flashlight in his hand as he walked around. I shushed the others as we ran the other direction. We ran to an elevator and got inside and slammed the button for the floor with the security.
The alarms started to go off. The whole prison was flashing red as loud alarms were heard. The door opened to the floor with the security and guards surrounded us as they got their button and tried to shock us. It didn’t work. This was because we had taken the markings off.
“Huh?” they said. I kicked them in the face as they went to the ground. Byne punched one in the face and we ran into the security with Jakob and Linc. We headed inside of the room and knocked out the guards inside.
“Go Proxima. To the roof!” he said. “We will handle things here.”
“Alright.” I said. The truth was, I didn’t want to leave them behind. That’s not what friends do. But, then, it was what they wanted. I ran out of the room into the elevator as I headed for the top floor. This was the roof and it had spaceships there, for an escape. Jakob sat down and started to hack the computers and Linc and Byne barricaded the door as someone started to pound on the door.
“How long, Jakob?” said Linc.
“I’ll need 5 minutes,” he said.
“Come out. You will head to SOLITARY!” said the guards. I rose to the top of the prison and I ran as Kira stopped me. She stood right in between the elevator and the ships.
“Why?” says Kira. “I thought you and I were partners?”
“No.” I said. “I’m done with this twisted prison. Stand out of my way!”
“This is my prison,” said Kira. “I’m not taking orders from you.”
Kira took out two blades out of her waist and held them tightly as I watched as she came over to me. I got ready for her attack. I positured my legs in a fighting stance. I blink, widen my eyes and foresaw her first attack. I saw an attack as a right hand sweep with the sword clutched in her hands tightly. As the attack came, I bent my torso backwards, dodged the attack and kicked her right in the torso. She let out a small grunt of pain as she was propelled backwards. As she was propelled, she let loose of the blades as they fell onto the ground. One landed near me and the other landed near her. She spun around and skidded onto the ground and got back up on her feet. She took the zapping device out and attempted to zap me and it wasn’t working.
“What?” she said. She noticed the scalpel in her pocket.
“You. You took the scalpel!” she said. I bolted towards her and she swung her left arm. I pounce to the left and avoid the attack. I blink and widened my eyes, foreseeing the attack. I knocked her in the torso with my leg a second time. She blocked it, using both her hands as a shield. The two of us fought in hand to hand combat as we released punches and kicks at each other. She punches me in the face as I am propelled into the elevator. I glanced at her swords on the ground and she saw them too. I dashed towards them. As I run, I get another vision into the future. This vision shows her trying to take the sword adjacent to me. I run for that one and kick her away as I take both. I held them up in my hands and walked towards her. I held the swords to her neck.
“Are you gonna kill me the same way you killed your mother?” she said.
“I didn’t kill my mother.” I said sternly. I said this with confidence as I had been told this lie so many times that I was sick of it. But, thinking of my mother was what got me to make my next move. To resolve this with as little conflict as possible.
“Why are you like this?” I said. “Why do you treat us like… objects or tools?”
“Because that’s what IL’s are!” she screamed. “Tools to be manipulated. Just as I was a tool for my own kind’s stupid experiment.”
