It had been two days and I was working hard with training with Byne. Byne, Linc and Jakob became my friends inside of this gruelling dump. We had been placed in the factory to work. My friends and I ignored the enforcement and we were in the corner, training. I sat down on the ground with my relic eyes closed. My antennae start to move back and forth. Byne threw a punch at me and I caught it with my right hand and twisted it, which caused Byne to let go. Linc opens his claws at me and pounces as I get up and I grab him right in the waist. My eyes were still closed. My antennae started to move again and then I realised that Jakob was reading my book and I sighed.


    “Wow,” says Byne. “Your reflexes are on point.”


    I opened my eyes.


    “It was such a good idea to have me close my eyes.” I said. When we first began training, my foresight was a huge advantage that gave a stupid idiot like me a massive edge in combat. It was actually Jakob who said that Anton’s are able to hear and sense vibrations and movement with their antennae. He said I could use those as eyes, instead of my future vision ones. I had practised the entirety of time I’ve had and have become pretty good at it.


    “Byne.” I said. “Fight me one more time.”


    I open my eyes, ready to use my foresight abilities in this fight.


    “Okay.” he said.


    He stood still, before he blurred, leaving behind an afterimage. Dashing towards me at a speed I could barely perceive, his arm coiled back, preparing a strike that I knew would take me out if I let it hit me. Widening my eyes, I took a glimpse into the future, discovering that his attack was actually just a feint to set up for a drop kick. Now aware of his ploy, I pretended to fall for his trick, seemingly bracing for his punch, before dodging his kick and closing in. His eyes widen, shocked that I saw through his feint so easily, and that moment of hesitation costs him the fight. Grabbing his outstretched leg, I center myself before pivoting and throwing him into a nearby wall.


    “Are you okay?” I said. I started to walk towards him and he ran and threw a punch and I caught it. I held it up and let go.


    “Wow.” he said. “You’ve gotten good.”


    “I learn pretty fast.” I said. I looked towards the three guys.


    “Proxima,” said Linc. “You’ve gotten stronger in combat, with the assassin trainer, what will you do now?”


    “I’m gonna escape and stop Klon.”


    “Klon?” asks Linc.


    “The culprit behind my mom’s killing. The person who is trying to take over one of the strongest IL planets in the galaxy.”


    “Okay.” says Linc. “But how do you plan on getting out? Morvit is the most high-tech and well guarded planet. Even getting off this planet is difficult. Besides, we all have crimes at our backs, if we attempt to escape, they could extend our sentence.”


    “If I escape and stop Klon, I can get this whole mess sorted out.” I said. “I just know it. Linc, you were the warden’s cat. You must know the Morvit institute like the back of your head, right?”

    “Yeah.” he said. "But knowing the place doesn’t necessarily mean you can just walk out.”


    “I know. I know.” I said. I looked to the exit door and then pointed at it and looked at Linc.


    “If I were to walk towards the door and open it, what would be on the other side?”


    “First off, you need a warden keycard, given only by the warden to even get in. But then again, Jakob has one, so it isn’t that necessary. Secondly, there are two guards, you’d need to take them out despite them having weapons and you not having any.” says Linc.


    “Okay?” I said. “Does anyone have any ideas for escaping?”


    “The truth is that we have no desire to leave.” says Byne. “You heard Linc, it’s very difficult. Why do you think you could escape?”


    “Because I’m the one who learned to be somewhat of your level of combat in 2 days.” I said. “You guys have helped me a lot and I’m sure you could help me more. If you help me, I swear I will get you guys pardoned and free from this prison.”


    “You still don’t get it, Proxima,” said Byne. “I’ve killed people. I can’t just be let off the hook. No one will forget. I’m sure these two have done something equally as bad.”


    “Maybe no one will forget. But, I am sure you can.” I said. “Please guys, I need your help.”


    Byne looked at me and sighed.


    “We will help you escape. But we won’t come with you.” Linc said.


    “Fine.” I said. “What will you help me with?”


    Linc jumped onto my shoulder and rolled up my sleeves to reveal markings from the handcuffs, they glowed bright yellow on my red skin.


    “This.” said Linc. “Despite the handcuffs being removed. A seal of some kind remains on the exo-body. This can be used by the guards to shock you. There is a way to remove it. A special scalpel and only the warden has this item. Without this seal off, you’d be shocked in a matter of seconds.”


    “So you’re saying I need to steal it from the warden.” I said.


    “Yes.” says Linc. “Escaping during the night is the best play as there will be less guards. But that doesn’t mean smooth sailing. There will still be security cameras and the barrier around the prison. This is what let’s ships leave and come as they go. That''s where the three of us will come in. We will cards to go into the room and Jakob can probably hack the cameras shutting them down. Right Jakob?” he asks.


    Jakob tossed his book and nodded.


    “Yeah.” he said. “I’d do anything to help miss Proxima.”


    “Oh brother,” says Linc.  “Once you get to the top, you can climb to the ships and use your card to take off in one of them and set a course for Allitune.”


    “That sounds good.” I said. “I just gotta get the scalpel and the cards.”


    “Yup,” says Linc.


    “Okay.” I said. “Do you have any idea how I can get the scalpel?”


    “I have an idea.” said Byne, “I could start a massive fight to distract the warden and the guards, to give you enough time to snatch it.”


    “Okay, thanks.” I said. “Just stay put for now, you guys.”


    The rest of the day went as boring as ever. We worked inside of the factory like we were supposed to and then we ate food, worked again and then we finally went back to our cells for a terrible night''s sleep. I lied in my bed and thought about what I was gonna do and hadn’t come up with an idea of how I could take her scalpel. The next day, I was working in the factory and I was clicking some buttons when someone chubby and big walked by me. He was walking towards Byne and I realised very quickly that it was actually, Mickistro.


    Mickistro was an alien who looked like a chunky squid with a mask over his mouth. He was wearing the jumpsuit and was yellow with piercing blue eyes. He was angry. He came to Byne and took his massive fist and clonked Byne on the head as he collapsed onto the ground.


    “Ha ha.” he said in his stupid voice. Linc jumped towards him and he punched him onto the conveyor. Jakob just sat in a corner reading. I walked over and tapped Mickistro on the back with my index finger. He turned to me.


    “This girl,” he said. “Are you gonna defend Byne again.”


    “If I defend Byne, you will just have a bigger incentive to go for him again.” I said. “Just leave.”


    “No.” he said. I saw a foresight of him throwing his left hand as a punch towards me. I put my right hand out and blocked it.


    “What.” he said.


    “Back off, alien.” I said.


    “No.” he said, taking his other hand in the air. “I don’t think so.”


    He was about to punch me when I took my left left leg and kicked him right in the balls.


    “Augh!” he said. “You indecent! That’s no way to fight.”


    He screamed as he ran off.


    “Guards. Guards!” he said. “She kicked me!”


    The guards ran inside of the factory and activated their buttons and zapped me until I fell unconscious.
