Chapter 855 The Pancake Tastes Excellent
"It''s nothing to be ashamed of," said Julien while patting Sydney on her shoulder.
Truly, Julien believed that pleasing his beloved had nothing to do with disgrace.
If making his love happy was degrading, it would be even too bad to call it love.
Julien preferred to think of it as romantic to delight Sydney.
He therefore wanted Sydney to think that there was nothing wrong with what he did.
Sydney lifted her head to meet his gaze and then leaned against Julien''s chest, saying, "Anything
you say, but you still haven''t exined to me how you knew I walked in. I moved so carefully."
Sydney shook Julien by his waist lightly and questioned him closely, as if she would never give up
without an answer.
Staring at Sydney, Julien blinked his eyes and said hoarsely, "I can tell you why, but stop wiggling.
Are you aware you are hitting on me? I would say you must know it."
Sydney leaned on him and wiggled, inevitably causing her body to touch his privates.
Julien was wearing a light shirt; that''s why he was more sensible.
Had he not known that she was hungry, he would have held her down and kissed her hard in the
kitchen.
In this way, she could know that flirting woulde with a price.

"Am I? Nah, forget about it." Sydney realized at once that she had actually aroused Julien''s sexual
desire when she saw the redness in his eyes. She turned embarrassed and sought to retreat by
releasing Julien''s waist.
"Why?" Julien saw through her intentions. He grabbed her by her wrist and hugged her again. He
put his chin on her shoulder and joked, "You started it, and you want to escape without doing
anything? How can you be so irresponsible?"
Sydney could even smell the fragrance of minting from him. She replied in a hurry, "No, I didn''t.
Don''t you say that."
"Oh, really?" Julien raised his eyebrows and grabbed her hand, pretending to put it into his trousers.
Knowing well what his next move would be, Sydney shouted in panic, "Woah, hold on. Julien,
behave yourself!"
"Yes, I am." Julien gazed at her innocently.
Sydney rolled her eyes in her mind.
''His acts were so clear! How could he call it "behaving"?
''Such a thick-skinned guy!
Julien burst intoughter as if he knew what Sydney was thinking about. He replied with his sexy
voice, "Fine, let me hug you for a while. I can calm down by myself."
Sydney frowned, her eyes filled with doubt.
Apparently, she would not believe him easily.
She did say she trusted him just now, but not in such a scenario.
She recalled what he had done with her on the other nights.
She begged him to stop several times; he agreed and promised it would be thest time.
However, he ate his words time and time again.
"Thest time" happened again and again.
That was why Sydney was so determined not to believe him.
Julien shook his head and smiled. He saw doubts in her eyes.
He didn''t expect that he had no credibility at all in front of her.
"I mean it. Let me hug you for a while. I won''t do anything." Julien fondled Sydney''s hair and made a
promise.
Being unable to get free, Sydney had no choice but to ept his story.
She gave up and allowed Julien to embrace her.
Julien kept his word this time. He just gave her a long hug.
But, of course, his hands were not so clean.
Sydney could feel his palms caressing her back.
"You want to know how I noticed youing in?" Julien asked after taking a long breath.
Sydney was immediately attracted.
Sydney was certain that she entered in silence.
In addition, Julien couldn''t have seen her steps because he was cooking.
However, he realized it was hering in. She was crazily curious how.
Julien observed her confusion. He finally answered, "I didn''t know at first, yes, I was concentrating
on the pan, butter when you approached me, I smelled your perfume. That''s why how I discover
it''s you."
"Perfume?" Surprised Sydney. She never considered that she might have exposed herself due to
her fragrance.
She raised her arm to smell it.
There was a slight perfume scent present. She wouldn''t have captured it if she hadn''t given it a
good sniff.
Not to mention how challenging it would be to spot it from a distance.
Perhaps Julien had a particrly keen nose?
Sydney gave Julien a startled look as she gave it some thought.
Julien recognized her look right away.
After all, her look was so easy to be interpreted.
Julien flicked his chin and responded, "I can smell things really well. As long as it isn''t too far away, I
can easily identify any distinctive smell."
Sydney nodded, "I see, such a unique ability. There aren''t many people like you."
Julien chuckled, "Am I that special? Okay then, would you mind waiting outside for me? The food
will be ready soon."
Sydney answered, shaking her head slightly, "Let me wait for you inside."
Julien respected her will. He turned around to turn on the cook for pancake.
Sydney leaned against the cupboard beside him quietly.
Unlike a greenhand learning to cook for the first time, he appeared to be an experienced chef.
Sydney had no doubts about his prior cooking experience because she was aware of his ability to
acquire new skills.
The pancake, which had an egg, lettuce, and bacon inside of it, was finished in another 10 minutes.
Before giving it to Sydney, Julien wrapped it in oilpaper. "Help yourself."
"Thank you." Sydney nodded and took a bite. Her pupils glistened. "It has great vor! You''re a
better cook than I am!"
When sheplimented him, Julien couldn''t help but smile. "Nice. Let''s leave; you can finish it on
the way."
"Okay." Sydney nodded. Julien held her hand in hand while leaving the apartment, leaving another
of her hands holding the pancake.
In order to give Sydney ample time for the pancake, Julien drove a little more slowly than usual. He
was worried that if he got there quickly and Sydney was rushing around, she might be choking.
As a result, he took longer than usual for the 30-minute trip. Even though the other drivers were
annoyed by his slow driving, they dared not honk because they could see how luxurious the car
was.
In fear of any scratch on the car, they wouldn''t want to provoke. It was simply too pricey to make up
for it.
They arrived at the police station in an hour.
Sydney and Julien stepped out of the car and entered.
