Introduction: I was just an ordinary man. A failure, a burden, a writer who couldn’t write, a son who could never make his parents proud. Sometimes, I’d sit and wonder. What’s my purpose? Why am I even here?Seneca the philosopher said, "We suffer more often in imagination than in reality." But if that’s true. Then what does it say about me? Have I been living in some self-made nightmare all this time? Are the things I want, the dreams I chase, nothing more than illusions spun from fear and regret?Yeah, maybe I should wake up. Because this dream is slowly... killing me. The darkness is devouring me, bit by bit until there’s nothing left. Swallowing me into the endless darkness. Tarnished me. And everything it touches. Now unrecognizable. Then what did I become? Am I still alive? Still human? I don't know. I can't see. I don't want to see.Only if… I could find some place where failure doesn’t define me. A past that doesn't bind me. A chance to rewrite my own story. To do something different. Something meaningful. Something better.Because this is a story me. The failed and miserable one.What to expect:- Psychological Realism approach: Dive deep into the main character’s thoughts with a stream-of-consciousness narrative. Like reading the diary of a mind unraveling.- Dark and self-deprecating humor: Inspired by Kurt Vonnegut’s sharp, satirical wit. Expect humor as dry as the MC’s hope for a happy ending.- Stories with deeper meaning: Every chapter will weave in hidden themes. Some inspired by ancient philosophers. Their wisdom shouldn’t just gather dust in a library.- Slow pacing: For now, at least I would think the story will be a bit slow paced.- Self-Aware Characters: Ever thought about reading a character that's a little unique? Well, a little more relatable? I can suggest you read the main character here. Even though he might suck.The story will be divided into sections and chapters. Each section can contain several chapters and each new section will start counting chapters again from chapter 1. I did this because I wanted to make editing easier and also the writing process better identified.For now, updates will be done between once or twice a week. Thank you for visiting.
