Chapter 684 Sympathy Or Love (Part Three)
"Humph! That sounds very easy for you," retorted Violet pretending to doubt Greg''s words. She still
needed to meet Greg''s parents since they could only get the marriage license if his parents agreed
their marriage. At least Violet''s family had already agreed to their marriage.
"It is really easy, or well, what would you like?" asked Greg and before Violet could respond, he
recapped,"Okay, I don''t have to work tomorrow, so, I''ll meet you in front of the Civil Affairs Bureau at
nine a.m. and remember to bring your ID card and household registration."
"My household registration is easy, it''s is at home. What about you?" asked Violet.
"It''s easy for me as well. You didn''t think I could get my household registration?" asked Greg as he
wondered, ''Is this woman looking down on me?'' ''How dare she! Should I punish her somehow for what
she''s thinking?''
"Greg? Wait, what are you doing? Stop!" shouted Violet as Greg put his hands on her again.
"What else is there to do in bed?" Greg replied with a wicked gleam in his eyes.
It was already six in the evening when Violet and Greg left the apartment.
As they were driving away, Greg asked,"Are you going back to your Uncle Wilson''s home tonight?"
"Yes, where else can I go?" still unable to make eye contact, Violet stared out the window as she said.
Glimpsing over at Violet as he asked, Greg saw that she still wouldn''t look at him.
"Why won''t you look at me?" Greg asked grinning cockily.
"Why should I look at you? It''s not like your face is a flower," replied Violet.
"Are you sure you won''t look at me?" Greg asked again, this time in a sing-song voice. He wasn''t
angry, he wanted to tease Violet, and taunted,"If you won''t look at me, next time I won''t be as merciful
as I was earlier. I don''t know if I will ignore your rebellion."
"Why yy-o-ou..." Violet huffed as she spun her head to look at Greg. Suddenly thinking of earlier in the
apartment, Violet was at a loss for words. The memory of Greg trying to make love to her again shed
in her mind, and she turned beet red. He had let her go after she resolutely resisted, or they would be
at the apartment even now.
"Huh honey? Will you look at me, now?" Greg asked as he nced at Violet while he drove along.
"OMG! Greg! You can be such an asshole!"ined Violet. She knew he enjoyed bullying her, but
she hadn''t expected this perverse side he was showing now.
"Whatever you say. I don''t care," Greg pretended he wasn''t fazed by what Violet said, but, inside he
was feeling quite pleased as he drove.
Greg and Violet bantered back and forth until the car pulled in front of the gate leading to the Yuwen
Family residence.
"Alright, we''re here! I''m going in now," said Violet as she unbuckled and went to get out of the car.
"Mydy, aren''t you forgetting something?" Greg seized Violet''s arm with his both hands to prevent her
from getting up.
"What do you mean?" Violet was confused by Greg''s question. She didn''t think she had anything to do.
Without answering Violet''s question, Greg leaned over and soundly kissed on her lips. He finally
released after a long time.
"It''s a kiss of goodbye, and one you won''t forget any more," Greg told Violet.
"You know you''ve taken advantage of me a lot today, right?" Violet asked as proudly as a queen.
"After we get the marriage license tomorrow, you can''t say I am taking advantage of you," replied Greg
smirking mischievously. "Of course, you could always take advantage of me next time!"
"Greg, can you stop ying jokes on me?" Violet blushed instantly. Opening the door she got out of the
car saying,"I''ll see you tomorrow, goodnight."
"Remember, think of me. Oh, and don''t forget to wait for me tomorrow morning," Greg reminded Violet
as though he was nervous she would forget about getting their marriage license in the morning.
"I won''t forget," Violet said as she walked toward the vi, waving her hand at Greg.
After he watched Violet disappear through the door, Greg drove away.
When Greg got home, his father was in the living room on the couch, watching the news on t.v.
"Dad, I''m home," Greg said greeting his father while changing his shoes.
"You''re just in time dinner is ready," said Fred ncing up at his son.
Just then Sharon came out of the kitchen and saw Greg walking into the living room. Smiling, Sharon
rushed up to greet him,"Greg, you''re home! Wash your hands, dinner is ready and it''s time to eat."
"Alright," Greg calmly told Sharon which gave her a happy feeling deep inside.
As they sat at the table for dinner, Sharon dished Greg''s food into his bowl. She enjoyed Greg''s attitude
towards her just now. She wanted to take good care of Greg because he had been friendly.
"Greg,e on, eat up," said Sharon.
"Okay, but, serve yourself please and don''t worry about me," replied Greg. He didn''t know why Sharon
was so kind to him today.
Looking at Sharon, Fred joked,"It''s like you''re a different person now." Her attitude change towards
Greg surprised Fred. Before Greg got home, Sharon was in a lousy mood, ming Fred for something.
He didn''t expect the sudden one hundred and eighty-degree change in mood.
"Naturally," replied Sharon smiling as she looked at Greg continuing. "There is only Greg, the baby boy
of our family. I need to take good care of him."
Listening to Sharon, Greg didn''t know what to say or do except to eat his meal quietly.
Nodding helplessly, Fred said,"Alright, whatever you want."
After dinner, Sharon went to the kitchen to wash dishes. Fred went and sat on the sofa. Greg followed

him, sitting beside his father he said,"Dad, I need to let you know something."
"Alright, go ahead," Fred said nodding.
"I''m going to marry Violet," announced Greg.
