Chapter 503 Shocking News (Part Two)
"Cherry, how are you?" asked Amy as she walked over to Cherry and took her hand.
"We just arrived, I thought you were supposed to get here earlier. Why are you sote?" Cherry asked
with an inflection of curiosity.
"On our way over we got stuck in traffic, " Derek answered.
"I see. Let''s get in, " Cherry said.
The four walked into the JS Group together.
Arriving on the floor where Selina''s office was, they got off the elevator. Selina and Wilson were sitting
on the lounge chatting with each other. When Selina caught sight of them, she got up right away and
dashed over to them.
"Hello guys, finally, you got here!" Selina greeted them politely all together, thinking it was too formal to
greet each of them individually.
"You called, so, we, rushed over, naturally, " Cherry responded smiling.
"Cherry, thank you for giving me so much faith! Today''s lunch is on me. I wouldn''t ask any of you to
Cherry''s.
"I''m not mad, besides, Jackson said getting angry harms my health, " Cherry replied casually, walking
towards the lounge with Selina.
"Selina, Cherry has been showing her affection. Haven''t you noticed?" Amy giggled while she teased
Cherry.
Knitting her brows in concentration, Selina mulled over Amy''s words quickly, and then gave Cherry a
cursory nce, "Huh, oh wow! You''re right! It''s rare for Cherry to listen to Jackson''s advice obediently, "
Selina stated as she turned to look over at Amy.
Smiling slyly, Cherry said to Selina, "Selina, are you sure you want to keeping clinging to me?" Then
Cherry feigned a look of hurt directed at Wilson and whined, "Wilson? Would you look at your girlfriend,
over here bullying me?"
"Oh no! Cherry, you got it all wrong, " Selina immediately sat down alongside Cherry, "Really, it was
simply a mistake. How could I dare to bully you with Jackson around?" Selina looked like a perfect
angel, and managed to keep a straight face the whole time.
Derek and Amy burst intoughter. Jackson and Wilson nced at each other, and then smiled
approvingly.
"Cherry, when she''s around you, she is as timid as a mouse. In reality though, she is domineering. She
acts like a child in your presence, " Derek told Cherry as well as Amy who was sitting near to him.
"Well, you''re right. Selina, don''t pay attention to what I said, " stated Cherry.
"Cherry, as long as you are with me, I am happy, " Selina replied as she leaned on Cherry''s shoulder
with a contented expression.
"Well, when you and my brother are married, we can hang out all the time. Perhaps we will get to see
each other more often too! " Cherry returned cheekily. ''Selina will be my sister-inw, soon. I will need
to be more respectful after she marries Wilson, '' she recognized.
Selina sighed, "Oh Cherry, you treat me best, " she stated with a satisfied expression on her face.
"Well? You said you had something important to tell us. So, what is it?" Cherry asked, suddenly
remembering they were meeting for a specific reason while reminding herself silently, ''I mustn''t forget
to tell everyone my news either.''
As Cherry asked her questions Selina sat up straighter, her smile was reced by a serious look.
"Well? I, I mean we do have something to tell you all, " Selina''s expression grew more hesitant as she
spoke.
"Just spit it out!" urged Cherry as she sat looking elegant.
"Well... okay, let me just tell you, " Selina paused, and when Wilson saw how shy she turned, he cut in,
blurting out their news, "The thing is, our wedding will be held in the two weeks, and we are hoping you
guys will be there."
Looking around the room, Wilson noticed jaws drop, eyes widened. The news was so explosive that it
left everyone, including Cherry in shock, "Wilson, was that idea my mom and uncle''s?" she asked
staring wide-eyed at Wilson.
"Yeah, they are very eager for us to be wed, so they set the date for two weeks from now. Since our
wedding preparations are almost finalized it isn''t a problem, " Wilson nodded as he exined.
"That''s wonderful news! Why didn''t you want to tell us?" Cherry asked, looking to Selina.
Turning a scarlet red, Selina lowered her head saying, "I''m a little shy Cherry."
"There''s no need to be shy. We all knew you two would be getting married, and it was just a matter of
when." Cherry scolded in a sisterly manner.
"Cherry, you have changed a lot, "
As Amy stated her observations she caught a glimpse of Jackson.
Derek sat there silently smiling.
"Is something wrong?" Cherry asked anxiously. ''Did she find out? I wanted to tell them about the
pregnancy myself. If she guessed already, that won''t be good, '' she thought.
"When we gather together, it''s usually Jackson who talks. Today though, you seem to have taken his
ce, " chuckled Derek.
Wilson nodded in agreement after he thought a moment.
"That''s it! Something is wrong. You are talkative and Jackson is sitting there not saying a word. He isn''t
acting like himself!" Selina decided.
"Well, we are a couple, so what''s the difference if I respond and he is quiet? Don''t be so sensitive, "
retorted Cherry. ''I enjoy this feeling, and I don''t want it ruined, '' she thought.
"Hmmm, well, your words make sense, " stated Selina while raising an eyebrow thinking the situation
was strange, "However, you usually sit meekly in Jackson''s arms listening to us in. You look different
today."
Selina thought something happened to make Cherry act so out of character.
"I have started having to give my son lectures recently, and I spend so much time using this tone, that
it''s natural, and why I am talking to you like this now, " Cherry exined. ''Not quite the truth, but, as
long as they don''t figure out I am pregnant, and I can keep them in the dark untilter when I tell them
myself, '' she chuckled on the inside as she thought.
"You do? I spend a lot of time with him as his piano tutor, and he isn''t rebellious at all. I find Joe to be
