A couple hours have passed when Zack and Matthew packed their belongings...waiting for their shop to return to pick them up.


    Zack was slowly beginning to worry about Max. Seeing concern in his eyes, Matthew asked him, "What?"


    Zack shook his thoughts away. "I''m just worried about Max."


    Matthew scoffed. "Why? I told you not to trust him!"


    Zack looked up and sighed to himself. Dropping the clothes, he walked out the door. "I''m going to see if he''s okay."


    Matthew rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

    Zack went to the familiar place Max liked to go to. He looked around, but no sign of him. He then walked up to the bartender and asked about him.


    The bartender rubbed his chin in thought, then looked at him again. "What does he look like, boy?"


    Zack described Max to them.


    The bartender held his head up. "Ah, yes...we were just talking to him a long while ago. He should be halfway there now...." He said half to himself.


    Zack furrowed his brows. "I''m sorry...what?"


    The customer then spoke. "He took my boat to travel to Venice." He said simply.


    Zack was taken back...then remembered what Matthew was joking about a while ago.


    Did he really just abandon them? Did he decide to go find his brother?


    The world around Zack then grew silent and blurred.


    How could have he done this? What if we had no boat? Matthew was right...Max IS a liar.


    Disappointment hit him so much that he didn''t listen to the two men in front of him, as he slowly walked out of the tavern.
