Ch 008_Dimensional portal sealing

For nearly a month, Vitjendra''s group had been searching for the Ashura dimensional portal, which had been sealed for decades by the previous Fatalis warriors.

"Commander Vitjendra, I have a report!" A soldier returned to deliver his message.

"What? If it’s not important, just leave," replied the commander, his focus still on the map detailing the spread of Ashura dimensional portals across Javadhipa.

"Understood, Commander. I want to report that Commander Druvh’s team has found the portal. It''s located at the southern edge of the Blora forest," the soldier stated firmly.

"Alright... Deploy all teams to Druvh’s location immediately!" Vitjendra swiftly issued his command.

"Yes, Commander!" The soldier saluted with enthusiasm before hurrying off to carry out his orders.

Vitjendra finally felt a sense of relief after a month of searching for the leaking portal.

"Sealing the portal doesn’t mean eliminating all the Raksha. However, it can at least minimize their presence in this dimension," the general thought to himself.

All units were immediately mobilized toward Druvh’s location.

    ---

Meanwhile, at Nazzares'' Training Grounds, Far from the Majapahit Army''s Location...

"Hiaaattt..! Dwaaarr..! Sringg..! Srring..! Singg..! Sing..!"

Zares was training in swordsmanship with his eyes closed. His mastery of the Sundang Committee of Majapahit had advanced significantly, thanks to his experience hunting and battling Raksha at night. His observational skills had also improved tremendously since his last training session with Master Vitjendra.

Day by day, he increased his training intensity. Now, he could carry a massive boulder on his back while leaping from tree to tree without channeling even a bit of mystical energy into his body. As always, Kandita was by his side, witnessing every moment of his training.

"Eat up... It''s time to stop!" Kandita shouted at Zares from a distance.

"Alright," Zares responded, realizing how hungry he had become.

At Commander Druvh’s Location – The Battle with Raksha

"Commander Druvh, I have reported everything to the other squads, and Commander Vitjendra has ordered all troops to gather here along with the sealing division," a soldier announced amidst the tense battlefield.

"Understood... Stay on high alert. We don''t know how long this portal will hold. If a Raksha emerges, attack immediately with your mystical weapons—even if it''s just a single strand of its hair," Captain Druvh commanded his troops.

Amidst the tense atmosphere, the soldiers stood their ground, anticipating the unknown horrors lurking beyond the portal. Suddenly, a massive hand burst forth from within.

    "Everyone...!! Attack!!"

    "Hoorraaaaaa!!!"

    "SRAKK..! BLAM..! SREKK..!!"

    "Foolish demon!!"

"Damn hand, die already...!!"Help support creative writers by finding and reading their stories on the original site.

"Get back inside your accursed home, you bastard...!!"

Swords clashed, arrows flew, and the warriors'' battle cries filled the air. But their attacks had no effect. With a single sweep of its colossal hand, the monster knocked down all the soldiers—except for Fatalis Druvh. Left with no choice, Commander Druvh prepared to unleash his mystical technique.

Removing the prayer beads from his neck, he clasped them in both hands while chanting an incantation, forming sacred hand seals.

    "Māyāyā? Tantu?, Satin weaving!"

A mystical circle materialized beneath Captain Druvh''s feet, and shimmering threads emerged, swiftly striking the giant hand, tearing it apart, and forcing it back into the portal.

    "SRAKK SRAKK!!"

    "BLAMM!!"

Thousands of satin-woven threads landed direct hits, pushing the monster''s hand back inside.

The soldiers, awestruck, murmured among themselves.

"A Fatalis is truly on a different level," one soldier whispered in admiration.

Still focused on the portal before him, Captain Druvh barked orders at his troops.

"Stay alert, you fools... Get up! One slap, and you’re out for a whole week? Pathetic!" he yelled at his fallen men, who were still dazed from the Raksha’s previous attack.

"If I could see the whole creature, I could analyze its power level... Damn it! That was just its hand, and it''s already that strong?" Druvh gritted his teeth in frustration.

The sound of marching footsteps rumbled through the forest—Admiral Vitjendra and his reinforcements had arrived. The monks immediately moved into position to initiate the sealing ritual.

"Everyone, prepare yourselves! Sealing division, begin the formation! Soldiers, maintain the front lines to protect the monks! Druvh, stay by my side," Vitjendra commanded.

"Yes, sir!!" the warriors responded in unison.

As the monks began chanting the sealing mantra, the Raksha’s severed hand suddenly reappeared, fully restored.

Captain Druvh’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"What the hell?! How did its wounds heal so fast?" he gasped.

Without hesitation, Commander Vitjendra drew his massive sword, unleashing a single, precise slash.

    "SRING..!! SLASH..!!"

The Raksha’s hand was cleaved in two, its severed parts dissolving into ash before vanishing completely. Moments later, the sealing ritual was completed successfully.

Druvh, still in shock at what he had witnessed, muttered under his breath.

"A living legend defies all logic... How did he cut through it so effortlessly?"

    The soldiers erupted in cheers.

    "Yeeaaah!! Commander Vitjendra is incredible!!"

    "Hooray! We did it!!"

The warriors celebrated their victory, their spirits lifted after the intense battle.

Four Days Later at the Majapahit Royal Palace...

The Majapahit Kingdom, with its capital in Trowulan, was bustling with travelers, scholars, merchants, and buyers haggling over prices. As the central hub of Javadipa, Trowulan was always alive with activity.

Guru Vitjendra and his entourage passed through the palace gates, preparing to report to King Hayam Wuruk that their mission had been completed.

Admiral Vitjendra walked through the long corridor, ready to deliver his report. Upon reaching the presence of the king, both he and his companion immediately bowed their heads and knelt with knightly respect.

"Your Majesty, we have completed our mission. The Ashura dimensional portal that was leaking has been sealed once again," Vitjendra reported while kneeling.

    "Well done, Vitjendra!"

"However, Your Majesty, I wish to further investigate the occurrences in the Blora Forest."

    "What is it?"

"Yesterday, my group discovered mystical incantations carved into a large stone. I fear that an external force may have deliberately opened the portal to release powerful Raksha."

"I see. Very well. But do you intend to handle this on your own?"

"I am more than capable, Your Majesty, especially since the Blora Forest falls within our military''s jurisdiction."

"Alright. But remember, you are an admiral and a crucial figure in this kingdom."

"Rest assured, Your Majesty. My general, Ahtreya, will take over my duties in the meantime."

Hearing that name, King Hayam Wuruk immediately trusted Vitjendra''s decision. "Ah, that elf..." He then added, "Very well. Report anything suspicious while you''re there."

"Understood, Your Majesty. I also wish to inform you that I now have a student."

    "A student? Who is he?"

"He is the grandson of my friend, a legendary figure of this kingdom—Drukja Abhiseka."

"Drukja Abhiseka...? The Fire King? I never thought he had a descendant," the king responded in surprise.

"Yes, Your Majesty. His grandson holds tremendous potential for the future of the Majapahit military. I am certain that, sooner or later, he will surpass his grandfather."

King Hayam Wuruk was intrigued by Vitjendra’s words. He knew well the immense power that Drukja Abhiseka possessed during his prime.

"Thank you, Your Majesty. While I am away, General Ahtreya will handle all of my duties," Vitjendra assured.

After a brief discussion, Vitjendra and Druvh took their leave, exiting the grand royal chamber.
