Luo Feng nced at his phone subconsciously to check the time. It was 11:40 in the morning.

Both Jardins and Alice were missing, and Luo Feng knew he was to me.
He immediately contacted Jardins’ father, Charles, and Alice’s father, Charlie.
Charles seemed to have an idea about what had happened. He told Luo Feng that he had people protecting Jardins covertly. These protectors had shed with the intruders, leading to the mess at the toy market.
However, Charles had no information on the whereabouts of Jardins and Alice.
“I trusted you to protect Alice, but never would I have thought that you’d lose her within a single day!”
Faced with Charlie’s usation, Luo Feng had nothing to say.
“If anything happens to Alice, I assure you, you’ll have no ce to hide!” Charlie threatened before hanging up the phone.
Luo Feng felt a deep sense of self-reproach. Both fathers had entrusted him with their most cherished daughters, and he hadmitted a fatal error.
