    Goodman was right. The Oasis was the key to leaving the desert. But now we''re inside a walled city hidden beneath the sand.


    They have magic here and people are just using it casually like it''s a normal ability to have. They also raise the sand bugs, they say it helps amplify their magic. Those wormlike things are flying freely out there. I don''t want to leave the RV but we''ve been invited to a feast.This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval.     Apparently there''s a festival going on this week to celebrate the birth of their god. I''m gonna stuff my ears with cotton and hope none of those bugs get into me.
