    Thank goodness Ms. Birch turned back into a person. Crisis averted!


    She apologised to everyone for being unprofessional yesterday. And when class was over she pulled me aside to talk about my magic stick. Apparently it''s a really powerful focus made out of her mother''s branches. She was really surprised to see it so she switched places with an actual tree that was really far away.     Anyway, Ms. Birch ran away from home and is hiding from her mom. She thought she got busted when she saw my magic stick and panicked. She basically just asked me to keep it away from her cause she''s scared of being found.


    Seems like she''s got a complicated family situation. I''m just glad it wasn''t my fault she turned into a tree...
