    Gerry said I need more experience closing portals and making barriers before I could close the big portal I made. For now It''s being used by other apprentices collecting stuff from the forest.


    I didn''t know this at the time, but the shrubs and bushes I''ve been whacking while I was in the forest were worth more than their weight in gold.This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.


    What a waste. If I plucked them up and sold them then I''d be rich. Well, maybe not. Spell ingredients are really expensive. I owe the tower money for the barrier ingredients and the portal stones I used.


    Now I have to find a way to make money in order to learn more about portals and magic.


    I might do some chores for Gerry for pocket money or something.
