    Goodman came back last night.


    His eyes were swollen. I think he was crying again. He brought back a lot of food though. The Trader man must have been nice.


    Goodman said he found a good base. He says we have to move again soon. The sleeping people aren''t supposed to be awake yet, apparently. I hope Goodman would stop leaving me behind. He says he knows someone that can fix my arm for me, but I have to be strong for a while. He gave me medicine so it doesn''t hurt so much anymore. We have to keep quiet because the burning men are coming this way.     I asked Goodman if mommy was in the base but he''s ignoring me again.
