Grace shook her head, “No, no, Ms. nagan. You can’t insult Allison like that.”
“Who do you think you are, a servant of the nagan family. How dare you talk to me like that. Allison
is taking advantage of me being pregnant and not being able to stay with Lucian. She, a lowly servant,
trying to seduce Mr. Lindberg. You better keep your daughter in check. Or I’ll make sure both of you
disappear from Northfield Penelope said.
“Okay, okay, Penelope. Don’t get worked up, you’re pregnant. Charlie immediately tried to soothe
Penelope and had her sit down to rest. Penelope felt the pain in her ankle and frowned at Grace, “Just

her heart and tried to check on her ankle, but Penelope pushed her away. What are you doing? You

Charlie looked at Grace, “Ma’am, maybe you should leave for now. Don’t upset Penelope anymore”

But all she did was sigh, then she turned and left.
Charlie watched her stooped figure walk away and said to Penelope, “Ms. nagan, I think she really
cares about you.”
Penelope took out a bottle of nail polish from her makeup bag, a shimmering light pink, “Really?”
Charlie looked at Penelope’s nonchnt demeanor, she found it strange. That woman really did seem
to care a lot about Penelope. This didn’t seem like Just a normal employee–employer rtionship.
