Chapter 667: You said you moved him!
Zane put on his clothes expressionlessly before turning to Finnley. Finnley looked just as lost, "I... I was
locked in the room with Albi."
After hearing Finnley''s words, Zane didn''t say anything but bent down to look for his phone. He vaguely
heard it ringing several times...
Finally, he found it on the couch with the volume turned down.
Zane picked up his phone and saw that there were several missed calls from Yanis and a few from an
unknown number. The time between these calls was not long.
Zane immediately called Yanis back.
The call went through almost instantly, "Yanis..."
"Zane, Anika has been taken from the hospital!" Yanis interrupted Zane before he could finish
speaking.
"You''re at the hospital?" Zane asked.
"Yeah," Yanis replied. "I''ve already asked Myles for help and Iris went to the Johnson family''s ce."
"I''ll be right there," Zane hung up and looked at Finnley. "Can you handle Ken Marsh''s side of
things?"
Finnley nodded in agreement. "Sure thing. Do you need any help here?"
As Finnley spoke, she nced towards the bed.
Zane''s face changed slightly. "We''ll talk about thister."
Finnely nodded again and said: "Okay then, go take care of what you need to do here."
Without saying anything else, Zane turned around and walked out of the room with Albi following
closely behind him trying to piece together what had happened earlier but couldn''t remember
everything clearly enough.
Today was supposed to be a discussion about West City projects with people from West City but who
would have thought something like this would happen? No one could have predicted it.
Neither Zane nor Finely had expected things to turn out this way.
"Go get the car,"
When they reached outside of hotel entrance, Zan ordered Albi in a low voice.
Albi quickly obeyed him by rushing over towards their car.
Then they drove straight away from West City towards St. Mary Hospital without wasting any more time
or taking any breaks along their journey .
Albi didn''t dare breathe too loudly throughout their drive as they rushed towards their destination as
fast as possible until finally stopping outside St. Mary Hospital whereupon immediately after parking ,
Zan got out of car first before striding purposefully into hospital building . Albi quickly found a parking
spot and followed closely behind.
When Zane found Yanis, Yanis was trying tomunicate with the hospital security to see if they could
ess other surveince footage.

"Yanis."
Zane whispered when he saw Yanis.
Hearing Zane''s voice, Yanis looked up. "Zane."
Zane took a few steps forward. "Any news?"
Yanis shook his head. "I couldn''t see their faces. I want to check other surveince footage and see if
there are any useful clues."
Zane looked at the security guard standing in front of Yanis. "Where is the control room?"
"I''ll take you there." Patients were taken away under their noses, so the hospital was very cooperative
in case something happened and they had to take responsibility for it.
Yanis and Zane followed the security guard through all of the hospital''s surveince cameras again.
"Wait, which side was that from earlier?" Yanis suddenly saw a figure that looked familiar.
"Which one?" The security guard pointed at where Yanis was pointing on theputer screen.
"This one." Yanis pointed at it on-screen with his finger
The security guard erged what Yanishad indicated,"This is fromthe northwest gate; most people can
onlye in but not go out here."
"But someone just went out earlier," said Yannis
Upon hearing this, the security guard moved time back slightly before noticing two people walking out
arm-in-arm together
The color drained from his face as he zoomed in on Miss Thompson''s image,"Do you know her, Miss
Thompson?"
He paused it then erged it further. Yanisknew who she was; how could he not recognize Anna?
Just then, Yanishad received a call from Iris. It seemed like Anna had been released on bail, and she
might be responsible for taking Anika away fromthehospital
"Hi, Iris?" Yannis nced over at Zaneand answered while putting her phone on speakerphone
"Yannis, Anna has been released, and I think she might be responsible for taking Anika
awayfromthehospital."
"I just checkedthe surveince footage, it really is her who took Anika. Can you contact Anna
somehow? Are you near Johnson Mansion now?" asked Yannis
"No one seems to be home right now. I asked around, but no one has seen anyonefromJohnson family
recently," replied Iris hurriedlyUpon hearing Iris'' words, Zane naturally reached out and took the phone
from Yanis. "Do you have any idea where the Johnsons might be going?" he asked.
After thinking for a moment, Iris replied, "I''ll ask around. If I hear anything, I''ll let you know right away."
Zane hesitated for a few seconds before responding to Iris'' question about whether they should call the
police. "Let''s wait a bit," he said.
"Keep in touch," Iris replied with an affirmative sound.
Zane hung up the phone and handed it back to Yanis before turning to Albi who was standing nearby.
"Have someone check if there were any people who had contact with the Johnson family recently and
see if they know where they might be," he instructed.
Albi nodded in agreement. After giving his orders to Albi, Zane turned towards Yanis and said, "Let''s go
outside."
Yanis responded with an affirmative sound as he apologized to one of their security guards before
following Zane out of the monitoring room.
With no news from Anika yet, all they could do was search for information while waiting for Anna to
personally call them back.
It was clear that Anna had been released on bail but her ultimate goal was probably directed towards
Iris herself. However, it seemed strange that all members of the Johnson family had disappeared at
once.
"Yanis... there is something..." Before Zane could finish his sentence though his phone rang suddenly
interrupting him mid-sentence causing Yanis to nce over at him curiously
Feeling apologetic towards Yanis, Zane nced briefly at him before answering Finnley''s call on his
phone instead."Ken''s men left Manches City half an hour ago," Finnley informed him through the line
while also mentioning that something had been left behind for him as well - photos
Upon hearing this news, Zane furrowed his brows slightly."What kind of photos?"he asked Finnley
"Just some pictures", Finnely replied simply which made it clear what kind of pictures these were
exactly. Zanesilently contemted this new information when Finely spoke again."The West City
project is highly valued by Ken, and since you''ve crossed paths with one of his men now, it won''t just
end like this"
"One of Ken''s men? When did I cross paths with them?"Zanesaid confusedly, having no recollection
whatsoever about such an encounter. Finnley didn''t seem sure either about who exactly Ken meant
by ''his man''.
"The West City project is important enough that you can''t afford not getting it", Finnley warned
ominously which made Zanesuspect that things would only get moreplicated from here on out..
