I am still not sure what to think of my current situation …
I woke up under a large tree in the middle of a plain. Grass as far as the eye can see.
But I was most surprised by a window that has popped up in front of me.

‘Well I guess I did die after all’
But to be transported to a different world, what was it called again? Arega? or something like that.
Well I guess I should say thank you whoever it was that gave me a second chance.
For now I should go west…
‘Uhm’…
What direction is west?
‘Sigh’, I should have paid more attention in class during geography.
Well I will just start walking, I should find a village sooner or later.
I started walking towards a certain direction and after a couple of hours I arrived at the edge of a forest and decided to follow the edge.
I might encounter some small animals, I am getting pretty hungry after all.
I searched around for a thick branch hoping I could use it as some kind of club, after all the message said it was a dangerous world and how else am I going to hunt something? With bare hands?
I climbed a tree and hung on a sturdy looking branch, hoping to break it off the trunk. Ofcourse I failed miserably I fell out of the tree and landed underneath it hurting myself because of it.

‘Any how I still need to get some kind of weapon’.
I continued searching and found a thick branch which, with some imagination could resemble a club.
Now with my improvised club on my shoulder I continued walking at the edge of the forest.
After about 15 minutes more walking I heard some rustling in a bush near me.
Stealthily I snuck closer to see what was behind it and saw a squirrel well it looked like one but this one was at least 1 meter long and had a dark green fur.
I readied my improvised club and snuck closer. Cautious to not make a sound when close enough I jumped at it and struck it hard on the head a loud crack sounded and I thought I broke its skull when it suddenly turned around and I saw two dark red eyes glaring at me.
Dumbstruck I stared back and saw that my improvised club had shattered on its head.
‘Damnit what is that skull made off?’ I thought.
The giant squirrel opened its mouth and what I saw made me gulp in astonishment. At least three rows of sharp teeth.
It screeched and jumped at me.
Pure as a reflexes I jumped backwards narrowly dodging its now revealed claws.
Terror struck I quickly ran away while cursing it for looking so weak from the back.
I watched back over my shoulder if it was following me but it was just standing there not thinking I was a worthy pray to chase around.
‘that little bastard, wait and see I will eat you. Just you wait’
