《The ice emperor》 Chapter 0: prologue ¡®It is cold¡¯¡­ ¡®So very cold¡¯¡­ My body can¡¯t stop trembling. ¡®Wait.. if I am trembling that means I am still alive¡¯. Now that I think about it my whole body is aching all over. Kind of what you would expect if you are buried under 3 meters of snow and ice. Last I can remember is me snowboarding down the slope when suddenly I heard a low rumbling noise and the snow around me started shaking and sliding . I heard someone scream and I looked back and it suddenly hit me¡­ no I mean it really hit me, a gigantic avalanche came down the mountain. Before I had even time to react and point my board down it overtook me and I was rolling down the mountain. Then everything went black... How could I be so stupid to ignore the warnings. I was on a 5 days snowboarding trip in the Alps but due to the terrible weather all the lifts were closed for already 4 days. So I decided to go down the mountain at least once, and I climbed up the mountain last night with a group of others so we could at least enjoy ourselves once . And my heart was full of regret. I already can¡¯t feel my legs and arms. I wonder how long I have been here already. I wonder if the others are still alive. I wonder¡­ will I make it out alive? Chapter 1: Second chances do exist I am still not sure what to think of my current situation ¡­ I woke up under a large tree in the middle of a plain. Grass as far as the eye can see. But I was most surprised by a window that has popped up in front of me.

I had no words for this¡­ ¡®Well I guess I did die after all¡¯ But to be transported to a different world, what was it called again? Arega? or something like that. Well I guess I should say thank you whoever it was that gave me a second chance. For now I should go west¡­ ¡®Uhm¡¯¡­ What direction is west? ¡®Sigh¡¯, I should have paid more attention in class during geography. Well I will just start walking, I should find a village sooner or later. I started walking towards a certain direction and after a couple of hours I arrived at the edge of a forest and decided to follow the edge. I might encounter some small animals, I am getting pretty hungry after all. I searched around for a thick branch hoping I could use it as some kind of club, after all the message said it was a dangerous world and how else am I going to hunt something? With bare hands? I climbed a tree and hung on a sturdy looking branch, hoping to break it off the trunk. Ofcourse I failed miserably I fell out of the tree and landed underneath it hurting myself because of it.

I guess it really does work.¡¯ It kinda sucks to be at level 1 though¡­ And what¡¯s up with this blessing¡­ in my old world I died in an avalanche and here I get its blessing¡­ Such an ironic fate¡­ And now that I think about it¡­ what¡¯s my name¡­ As hard as I try to think about it, I just can¡¯t remember it¡­ ''Well it doesn¡¯t really matter, I will come up with one later I guess.'' ¡®Any how I still need to get some kind of weapon¡¯. I continued searching and found a thick branch which, with some imagination could resemble a club. Now with my improvised club on my shoulder I continued walking at the edge of the forest. After about 15 minutes more walking I heard some rustling in a bush near me. Stealthily I snuck closer to see what was behind it and saw a squirrel well it looked like one but this one was at least 1 meter long and had a dark green fur. I readied my improvised club and snuck closer. Cautious to not make a sound when close enough I jumped at it and struck it hard on the head a loud crack sounded and I thought I broke its skull when it suddenly turned around and I saw two dark red eyes glaring at me. Dumbstruck I stared back and saw that my improvised club had shattered on its head. ¡®Damnit what is that skull made off?¡¯ I thought. The giant squirrel opened its mouth and what I saw made me gulp in astonishment. At least three rows of sharp teeth. It screeched and jumped at me. Pure as a reflexes I jumped backwards narrowly dodging its now revealed claws. Terror struck I quickly ran away while cursing it for looking so weak from the back. I watched back over my shoulder if it was following me but it was just standing there not thinking I was a worthy pray to chase around. ¡®that little bastard, wait and see I will eat you. Just you wait¡¯ ~ Someplace else¡­ [???] ¡®Did he really just walk to the east¡¯?
