Chapter 3 (Meditation)

    As Lee read about abilitys and the people who had them in hisfamily one of them was his great great grandfather who had the ability ofvolukinesis. (the ability to control insects) there wasalso his great grandmother who had the ability of seismokinesis. (the ability to manipulate and genorate vibrations)


    Lee was also curious what was his ability was. "I hope its something not something completly useless."He thought as he continued to read about meditation.


    "The first thing you need to knough about psychic abilitys is that they all use mental energy. Mental energy is anything from your power itself to your consciousness everyone has a mental energy pool even people that dont have powers have one however people with powers have a bigger pool "


    "While you are in your first meditative state your mental energy goes berserk the more powerfull your mental energy is the more dangerouse it is. However the largeryour mental energy pool is themore powerfull your ability will be."


    "After your first meditative session, the more uses meditation has such as increasing you mental energy, to even evolving your power when you get enough mental energy. Mental energy can even be even used to increase your memory"


    "Another thing you have to be wary of is getting distracted in your first meditation, if you lose focus your mental energy can go out of controll and the worst outcome of it happeningis leaving you comepletly brain dead."


    "To an outsider point of view of someones mental energy going out of controllwill just look like a giant flash of a bright light followed by the peron having seizures."


    "Sometimes very rare inividuals will be born with 2 powers however it comes with a price they will usaly have weaker powers for example someone who has 2 powers will have their mental energy split between the two. However there are exceptions."


    As Lee was reading he happened to think back when his parants were killed. "When the demon vanished Isaw a bright flash of light could it be that, thatwas mymental energy?" Lee thought


    However he shortly cleared this thought out of his head and went back to reading.


    "Someone who doesn''t have a psychic ability will still have a small mental energy pool however mental energy can be used for things other than psychic abilitys for example someone can make their body stronger, dull someones perception of pain or even let someone think multiple things at once.If someone who didnt have psychic abilitys train their mental energy pool to a certain degree they can develop a psychic ability.It is even theorised that the origin of all psychic abilitys is from people training their mental energy"If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road.     Lee closed the book "I think im about ready to start meditating." Lee thought to himself


    He got up and went to the living room


    "Grandma i''m ready."Lee said excitedly."Ok follow me."She said


    She led him to a part of the house he''s never been to before. "When you meditate you lose your perception of your surroundings so do not freak out if you do, it can kick you out of the state."She warned


    "Sit down."She said as she points to a mat on the floor.


    Lee sat down and closed his eyes. At first he didnt notice anything however slowly he started to see a slight blue glow in the shapeof his body With a white ball of light in his forehead.


    The whitelight was slowlypulsating and rotating. As he focused on the light he appered in a black room with a greenball of light floating in the air.


    Slowly the light was expanding and moving erratically. After a few minutes the light was around the size of a car and still growing. As he focused on the ball of light he found out he could controll it if he focused, however he still couldn''t stop the ball of light from expanding.


    "This must be my mental energy." Lee thought


    No matter what he did he couldn''t keep the ball of light from expanding. After a few minutes the ball of light was about to completly cover the room.


    I can''t controll it.Lee said


    When all the sudden he felt a shap pain in his head, then ball of light started shrinking then all of the sudden exploded. "AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." Lee screamed As his vision started fadingthe last thing he saw was single piece of paper and after that darkness.

    Mary(Lees grandmother) POV


    "Sit down." she said and shortly after lee closed his eyes and entered the state.


    After about ten minutes shegot worried as it usally takes half the time to enter and leave the meditave state for the first time. All of a suddenthere was a flash of light then lee started spasming. "Not good he is having a seisure." she said as she ran up to him to check his vitals. "Good he''s safe." she saidto herself. She thenpicked him up and layed him down on the couch.As she stared at him she thout about a certain person


    He realy does resemble him she thought nostalgically. As she thought abouther brother, the time when he awkened his power, to the time that he was betrayed..


    "Those bastards." she growled as she thought about the people that her brother trusted.


    She sighed there is nothing Ican do now. she thought trying to calm herself down.


    "ughhh." She turned around hearing noise "He is starting to wake up." she thought to herself.
