Leon flew around the area, slightly awed and frightened by the sheer number of zombies making their way towards the battle area. If he couldn''t find those gates and take the pressure off, then eventually they would manage to break into the buildings and put the residents into more danger.
He started this, so he had to end it before that happened. First higher ground.
Flying above the building, then higher still, Leon Finally looked down from almost a mile up. The streets were truly packed with the undead, far more than he though. The battle are was drawing them from all over and those who went towards the battle drew those who saw them move.
The chain reaction was hadn''t spread that far yet, but with time, there would be no stopping it. luck was on his side though, the zombie portal were colorless distortions, but they always formed at ground level. With very little to attract the zombies once they exited the gates, they tended to clump right on their spawn area. Leon identified four of them within 10 miles of his building.
Suddenly he fell from the sky.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" Panic swept through his mind. Instinctively reaching out for any solution, he used his [telekinesis] and air magic to slow his fall. The moment of reprieve, allowed his mind to realize hie forgot to renew [flight] before the hour was up.
His attempt to do so now was unsuccessful, as the air magic was draining his MP fast with the need to keep something as heavy Leon in the air. Forcefully calming his mind, he drank an MP potion and recast flight.
"Whew!" Sweat coated his face and shaking wracked his body at the near death experience. Checking his status, he saw he has gained 2 levels already in flight and that the re-deadening of so many undead as granted two levels as well.
Flight still cost 100 mp, but it as gained 2 mph in speed. Ten bonus points await distribution as well. he immediately throws them into INT, raising his Mp from 182 to 282.
Realizing he has no time for panic, he heads toward the nearest zombie gate. It''s in a park not too far from his building. A few minutes later finds him hovering over the clear sphere of energy. It isn''t currently dislodging any zombies, but that can change at any moment.
The zombies in the area have noticed him, but his biggest concern is how to destroy the gate. He has no idea how tough it is, or how it''ll respond to being attacked. His summons may be able to take it down, assuming they survive long enough, but they won''t.
He looks at the undead and gets an idea. Flying low enough to be just out of reach of the zombies, Leon uses his [Command Undead] skill.
40 MP disappear, but there is no change in the zombie he has targeted. Getting even closer, he triggers the skill again.
Still nothing.
Frowning Leon checks the skill.

With the destruction of the gate of the hundreds of zombies near it, he has gained two more levels and now has a total of 25 summon slots. With the fox and Bone warriors taking up 3, he has room for 22 more bone minions or 44 elemental summons.

With every bonus point thrown into INT, he now has 404 mp. Many potions later, 44 incredibly varied elemental summons stand in the park. A bit of experimenting later and he is disappointed to find that he won''t automatically receive what is summons pick up.

Sighing, he buys 20 one credit bags from the store and have them pick up the hundreds of credit cards lying on the ground. After that, they are to assault the dead and collect the cards as well as anything else that might prove useful. Rinse, then repeat.

The highway entrance houses a gate crawling with zombies. The area is covered in crashed vehicles of those who failed to escape the city. Unlike the zombies he''s encountered before, some of these have gain levels, most likely be having killed the former passengers of the many wrecks.
