Reba stood in the building lobby with trembling legs. Her vision was blurry, and her ears were filled with a buzzing sound, making it impossible for her to hear clearly. Reba felt cornered. She couldn’t avoid Harvey’s sharp eyes staring at her. Alicia’s loud snort brought her back to reality. She turned towards Alicia and felt her chest fill with hatred and anger. She had never hated anyone so much that she wanted to pounce and tear her apart right then and there.
