Patricia''s POV (Confused)


    Mabilis lumipas ang mga araw at pakiramdam ko''y paulit-ulit nang din ang nangyayari sa''kin. Halos kabisado ko na ang mga nangyayari sa''kin araw-araw.


    I would go to school and be stress by our confusing lessons and do some of ourboratories.


    But when it''s weekend, it''s either I go to my parent''s house to visit them or I just lock myself in my room and read books rted to medicine, sometimes I cook food for Callum.


    Weeks passed and I was bothered. Bothered to the fact that I still don''t know what Callum''s reason is for investigating my dad. I can''t confront him about that because I''m always busy and so is he. Kahit naman may pagkakataon ako na tanungin siya tungkol doon ay pinapangunahan ako ng kaba at takot. My concerns and thought just added by the strange feeling I had these past few days. "Oh, geez!"


    I held my head when I felt dizzy. It happened again.

    When I finished vomiting, I wiped my mouth with a tissue. Parangntang gy ang katawan ko ng makbas sa banyo, napatingin pa ako sa bintana dahil mataas na ang araw. Tanghali na naman ako nagising at may pasok pa ako ngayon. Lumabas ako ng kwarto at nasa bukana pang ako ng kusina ay napatakip na ako sa ilong dahil sa naamoy.


    "Nanay Nelia, ano po ang niluluto niyo?"

    Nag panic siya at agad pinatay ang stove.


    Inamoy niya ang niluluto at tinikman pa ito.


    "Ay, ayosng naman po ang amoy atsa, Mam" nakahinga siya ng maluwag. "May sakit po ba kayo? Namumu po kayo. Gusto niyo po tawagan ko si sir callum?"


    Napatigil ako at muling napasinghap ng mnghap ang adobo. "Uh-no need! Medyo masamang ang pakiramdam ko. Siguro sa p-puyat"


    She looks hesitant and seems want to ask me more.


    Nag tim nang ako ng kape, ito nang siguro ang iinumin ko para mayman ang tiyan ko dahil haloshat ng nakahain na pagkain samesa ay hindi ko gusto.


    I was confused for a while, I''m not like this. Paborito ko nga rin kainin ang adobo at hindi ako mapili sa pagkain pero ngayon ay kakaiba.


    Parang ayaw ko sa amoy ng mga niluto ni Nanay Nelia ngayon. What''s happening to me? I noticed that I was feeling weird this week. Inubos ko ang kape ko bago bumalik sa kwarto at naligo. Habang nag aayos ako ng sarili ay naisipan kong itext si Jess.

    Halos kumip ang mata ko sa ibinigay niya. Inamoy ko ito at napapikit sa bangolo na at bagong luto.

    Nakangiti ko siya''ng hin papunta sa room.


    When the ss started, I felt dizzy again but I didn''t mind it and tried to understand our lessons. Pansin ko rin ang sulyap ni Jess sa''kin dahil paulit-ulit kong hinihilot ang sintido ko. "Are you okay?" she suddenly asked. "You''re so pale! I''ll tell to our prof-"

    Ngumiti ako ng pilit para maniw siya. Natapos ang se namin sa dwang subjects at dumiretso na kami sa cafeteria.

    Inbas ko na angsagna at sinimn ''yon kainin. Hindi ko na pinansin si Jess at kumain nang.


    "You''re different, huh.." she uttered so I looked at her.


    "Yes, I don''t know why. Masyado akong sensitive sa ibang bagay ngayon"


    Nang maubos ko angsagna ay bumili naman ako ng pasta at ng desserts. Gosh, I''m so hungry!


    "Pinagugutuman ka ba ng asawa mo?" tanong ni Jess ng makita ang binili ko. "Are you serious? You can eat all of that?!"


    I smiled sweetly. "Of course, kaya nga binili ko, e!"


    I started eating again while she''s still watching me, seems problematic. Ano naman ang magagawa ko? Pigilin ang gutom? Nala kong kapeng p ang almusal ko kanina kaya siguro ganito ako at nahihilo. Thank god my dizziness was gone and reced by fullness in my stomach.


    I was satisfied when we back to the ssroom and continued our discussions. Now, we were discussing about female reproductive, pregnancy and parenthood. Sounds interesting.


    "There are many symptoms to know that a woman is pregnant" our professor started. "Like vomiting and missed period.."


    "So... a woman can be pregnant even if she didn''t missed her period? Amazing, ngayon kong nman ''yon" komento ni Jess sa tabi ko.

    Through out our discussions, Jess keepsmenting and amazed about it, seems like a kid. Nang mag dismissal naman ay nakaramdam ulit ako ng pagsusuka kaya sinabihan ko si Jess na pupuntang ako safort room.

    "Damn!" I uttered while holding my stomach.


    Parang nagutom ulit ako pagkatapos ko sumuka dahil halos ng kinain ko kanina ay w na. Nag hmos ako at napatitig sa repleksyon ko sa smin.


    My eyes and lips are very pale which is unusual. I always take my vitamins so why?


    Out of confusion, I just put lip tint on my lips to hide my paleness andbed my hair. When I was satisfied with my looks, I went out of the cubicle and saw some girls talking while applying powder in front of the mirror. Tuloy-tuloy akong lumabas ngunit paliko pang ako sa hallway ng may makita akong babae na nakatayo sa gilid ngboratory room.


    Nakatalikod siya so I can''t see her face but my eyes immediately went to her skirt with a red stain.


    Tumingin muna ako sa paligid bago siyapitan.


    "Hey" I called and she turned around, wondering. "You had period today?"


    Her eyes widened before looking at her own skirt. "Oh my gosh! I had stain!"


    "Do you have pads?" tanong ko pero umiling siya at t nahihiya. "I have some"


    I took my extra pads out of my bag and gave her one. I always bring it with me for this unexpected day.


    "Wait, you''re Patricia, right? You''re not only beautiful and smart, you''re also kind! Thank you so much for this!" "How about your skirt?"


    "I had extra. Uh-thank you again!"


    Ngumiti siya sa''kin bago tumakbo sa c. r. Ibabalik ko na sana ang natirang pads sa bag ko ng mapahinto ako.


    I looked at it intently and tried to remember something. I frowned when I realized that I had put it in my bag a month ago but I can''t remember having a periodst month and now, it''s a new month again... Fuck! D-Did I just missed my p-period?
