    Upon hearing this, Brittany’s heart softened. She owed Daniel so much over the years.


    Now he just wanted a meal together, so how could she say no?


    “Alright, let’s all eat together.”


    Isaac got out of the car with their stuff. Upon seeing that the two of them had already agreed, a glint of


    joy shed in his eyes.


    “Dad, we’re going to eat.” Daniel made all sorts of cute faces at Isaac, as if saying, “Dad, seize the


    chance and win Mom back.”


    Isaac picked up Daniel, and Brittany stood next to him. “Let’s go.”


    Brittany nced at his profile with some displeasure.


    But to avoid disappointing Daniel, she swallowed her feelings and followed him.


    The romantic restaurant was near the hotel. The staff sucked in a breath when they saw this good-

    “Sir, madam, right this way.” The waiter came forward and said, “Do you have a reservation?”


    “Any seat by the window will do.”


    Daniel called out as Isaac held him with one arm. The waiter couldn’t help but smile at his cuteness.


    After they found a suitable seat, Daniel quickly made an excuse about a stomachache, iming he


    needed to go to the bathroom.


    “I’ll go with you.”


    Brittany didn’t want to be alone with Isaac, but Daniel refused.


    “Could you take me?” Daniel looked at the waiter with puppy eyes, which she couldn’t resist, so she led

    “Check out the menu; order whatever you like.” Isaac handed the menu to Brittany. “This ce is


    known for their steak. I remember you used to love it.”


    “My taste has changed.” Brittany took the menu, her tone cold.


    Isaac looked at Brittany; his interest in her was evident in his eyes. “Still mad?”


    Brittany originally nned to oppose Isaac on purpose, but after careful thought, she felt that was too


    childish. So, she straightforwardly ordered a steak and some appetizers, which were her old favorites.


    “Why would I be mad at you?” Brittany responded with a sarcastic tone. “Mr. Salter, you’re usually


    super busy; now that you are here in H city, are you nning on reminiscing about your ‘first love’ by


    the sea?”
