    After Nichs walked Remus out the door, he thought for a moment before he asked Edward to get the


    car. Although he had refused Remus’ suggestion to talk to Wanda, he still had to visit Horace out of


    respect.


    After Nichs entered the ward, he stood upright beside the bed, looking elegant. “How are you

    Wanda.”

    nothing to do with you?” He stared at Nichs sharply


    Nichs didn’t recoil from his stare and stared right back at him. “That’s right. To be honest, it was your


    family’s own wishful thinking from the start. Never have I once said that I wanted to marry Wanda or


    anything that might be misconstrued. The woman I love has always been my wife.”


    As Nichs talked about Tessa, his facial features softened, and adoration filled his eyes. When


    Horace saw the changes in his expression, he felt upset.


    “Is she that good?” After all, in Horace’s eyes, Wanda was perfect. He would never be able to


    understand how Tessa, amoner, was better than his granddaughter.
