“I’m not going back!” Wanda refused without hesitation as soon as she heard Horace’s words. “I’m
already a grown-up, Grandpa, so you don’t have to intervene in my business!”
Never had Horace expected that Wanda would say such words to him. In that split second, he was so

into the ward and saw his friend’s pale face, he felt sad, “Why did you faint all of a sudden?” asked
Remus.
When Horace saw Remus, he was still gloomy. “You came.”
Seeing his reaction, Remus asked in concern, “What’s wrong? Is it something to do with your body?”
When Horace saw that Remus was sincerely worried about him, Horace told him what happened after
some hesitation. “The Hadfield Family caused trouble at my housest night.”

notify Nichs and directly went to his office.
“Grandpa? Why are you here?” Nichs was surprised at Remus’ arrival. With the help of his walking
stick, Remus walked to the couch and sat down. “I went to visit Horace at the hospital just now.” He told
Nichs the truth.
Nichs nodded. He had already heard the news of Horace being admitted to the hospital. “Is he
alright?”
“He’s fine. He is just upset.” As Remus spoke, he looked at Nichs with hesitation. Looking at his
expression, Nichs raised his eyebrow and asked, “Is there something you wish to tell me, Grandpa?”

for the sake of Mr. Muller. After all, you are the reason for her doings. I’m sure that
everything wille to an end if you talk to her.” He didn’t need to feel guilty about it since he was just
asking Nichs to persuade Wanda.
However, he never expected Nichs to refuse immediately as soon as he heard his request. “I can’t
do anything about this.”
Remus disagreed with his words and said, “Why not? She loves you. I’m sure she’ll listen to you if you
talk to her.”
However, Nichs was persistent. “If a person were to continue their wrongdoings even when they
know it is their fault, they are hopeless. No matter how much others try to talk them out of it, it would be
useless.”
Remus was rendered speechless. “Moreover, if Wanda was really repentant, she would have listened
to Mr. Muller and gone abroad herself,” Nichs added.
In the end, Remus could only return home because he wasn’t able to argue against Nichs.
