The scariest thing this sentient ball of slime has ever seen was a rat.
It was the difference between a broom and the fireball spell to the slime.
It knew that a broom couldn''t kill it because of its [Iron Core].
And it also knew it would be obliterated if it got hit by a fireball spell.
It was unlikely that the beast could shoot fire so it wasn''t afraid.
But then the thing walked around the corner

If the slime had eyes they would have popped out, flew around the earth several times then hit it in the back of the head.

It wasn''t that much weaker than the bear but the thing had a skill called [Ember Breath].
When the creature was adolescent it would be F- ranked and the skill would most likely evolve into [Fire Breath].
When it reached adult it would be E ranked and the skill would evolve into [Flame Growl].
If ,and a very big if, it reached what is called Titan Stage it would be D+ with the skill [Inferno King''s Roar].
The average human was H+ ranked.
The strongest human alive was C+ ranked.
Most proper adventurers were E- ranked
And adventurers can only fight monsters of their level in groups of 3 to stand a chance.
In a 1v1 adventurers can fight monsters two sub ranks lower.
So a Titan Sunbear is a strong as a C ranked adventurer which there is only around ten of.
But the chances of it reaching titan stage is 0.1% chance.
Well... it got a little side tracked there.
Well basically when fire touches slime, the slime dissipates.
So it was bad news for the slime.
So the slime did what anyone would do.
Snuck behind the bear quietly.
Approached from behind just as silently.
Then... shoved as much slime down its throat as possible.
If the monster can''t breathe in.
It can''t breathe out. (Well DUH)
Which means it can''t breathe fire.
Which means the slime won''t die a fiery death.
Oh, also there a bonus to this.
If it can''t breathe it will probably die.
Well that''s why slime is superior.
