Chapter 1759 Apologize
"Why did you do this to me? Why?" ck asked Rex as he rushed in.
Rex frowned for he thought that ck was being disrespectful to him. "Are you really my son? Why are
you talking to your own father like that over a woman?"
"So what did you do to me?" ck red at Rex. He had a vicious look on his face as if he was staring
down his enemy as opposed to his father.
Rex was furious at ck. He walked towards ck and pped him across the face, unable to control
himself anymore.
ck was petrified. He had lifted his hand and was nursing his cheek with his right hand. He had never
thought that Rex could do that to him.
For years, no matter what he''d done, Rex would just scold him—never hit him.
ck grew upset upon thinking of this.
"You know Holley and I are getting married soon. Why would you do that?" ck was seething, and his
body was shaking in anger. Even though he tried to hide it, he couldn''t.
"You little bastard, that bitch doesn''t deserve you!"
Rex couldn''t understand what ck saw in that woman. Why was he so in love with Holley? No matter
how hard Rex thought about it, he just couldn''t wrap his head around it.
"You have to stop talking about her like that," ck snapped, scowling at Rex.
Rex just couldn''t ept that ck really did care about Holley. He too was shaking in anger as he
lifted a finger and pointed it at ck. "Holley isn''t even loyal to you. Do you really think she''ll be with
you wholeheartedly after Jason has gone? Now that Jason''s gone, she''s going to look for someone to
rece him, and that''s not you. She''s never going to be with you."
Rex didn''t care if ck wanted to hear that. He needed to say it because it was the truth.
"No. I don''t believe that. Holley loves me. I know she loves me..." ck retorted as he struggled to
ept this view of Holley.
To Rex, ck was being unreasonable. He didn''t know what to do anymore, so he asked a few of his
men to take ck to the second floor.
"Let me go!"
ck was sessfully able to shake them off. Then he walked to Rex with a dark look on his face.
"Why are you meddling with my business? All these years, all I did was listen to you. Why can''t you
ept the woman that I love? Jason is gone. Why can''t I be with Holley? Why?"
He couldn''t understand why Rex hated Holley so much. She was just a simple woman, and she wasn''t
a threat to him or the Hu Family. Why couldn''t he ept her?

Afterward, Rex turned to his subordinates. "Take him to the second floor. Unless I tell you otherwise,
you don''t let him out. Don''t open the door for him."
"Why? Why are you going to lock me up?"
ck was still struggling, but Rex''s subordinates didn''t listen to him. After all, Rex was the boss.
"For now, you''re just going to stay there,"
Rex said, pointing at ck. Then he gestured for his men to take ck upstairs.
After they all left, it waspletely quiet in the living room. Rex could finally sit on the couch. Still, he
was furious.
After Rex had sat down, a servant silently approached him and offered, "Master, would you like some
tea?"
"Yes, that would be nice."
He was thirsty after fighting with ck.
The servant then served Rex''s tea. After that, the servant made himself scarce, knowing that Rex was
in a terrible mood. After all, if Rex needed anything, he''d call for them.
Meanwhile, ck was distressed as he was forcibly taken to the second floor. Rex had ruined
everything—he was going to get married to Holley soon, and he didn''t know when he was getting out of
this ce. He couldn''t do anything, even if he wanted to. Rex was his father, and ck had to show his
filial obedience.
After the door was locked, ck still kept knocking, but the staff guarding the door just ignored him.
After a while, ck threatened, "If you don''t open this door right now, I''m kicking it open!"
"Young Master, please, don''t do that. Master has ordered us to do this. We have no choice but to
follow. We can''t let you out. If you get out, we might get into trouble," one of the staff answered ck.
In response, ck angrily kicked at the door. Still, it remained closed.
No matter what he did, he knew there was no chance he was getting out today. He had no choice but
to wait.
Rex sighed when he heard that ck had stopped trying to get out. He had everything nned and
ck ruined it. If ck hadn''t ruined his ns, he wouldn''t have locked his son up.
After thinking for a while, Rex finally called Ferry. He knew he had to tell Ferry that his ns were
ruined. If he didn''t say something, Ferry might take his anger out on the Hu Family. While he wasn''t
scared of Ferry at all, he still knew that he shouldn''t be picking a fight with a man such as Ferry.
After a few rings, Ferry answered the call.
He knew why Rex was calling him. After all, Holley had told him everything. He didn''t answer Rex''s call
right away simply to irk him.

"Mr. Hu, I''m surprised you still remember me," Ferry said snidely.
Rex hadn''t expected that Ferry would have found out this soon. He had no choice but to apologize.
"Mr. Fang, why would I forget you? How could I do that? I think you know why I''m calling." Rex decided
to get straight to the point.
"Ha! If you didn''t mention it, I might have forgotten. Did you go behind my back with your son? Just to
make a fool of me?" Ferry used.
Rex had guessed that Ferry wouldn''t be too happy, but he hadn''t expected that Ferry would use him
of purposely botching the n.
"Mr. Fang, you got this all wrong. I''m very disappointed in my son, for he has fallen in love with Holley.
What can I do? Anyway, it was my son''s fault. I need to apologize to you."
Rex didn''t have a problem apologizing to Ferry. ck was his son and therefore, his weakness. That
wasn''t a secret at all. Everyone knew it.
