Chapter 809
At noon, Rosalie and the others found a restaurant nestled within the amusement park to have
lunch. The two kids had a good appetite because they were tired from ying, and they devoured
their food eagerly.
After finishing their meal, the children voiced their enthusiasm about heading to the amusement
area of the restaurant to y.
There were already many children ying inside the amusement area. Rosalie turned to Jonathan
and said, “I’ll take the two kids over there first.”
With that, she walked toward the amusement area, one child holding each of her hands.
Jonathan observed their retreating figures with a gentle warmth in his eyes. They were his dearest
family, and he would only allow his affection to flow when he was with them.
Perhaps the only thing Jonathan worried about now was that memory, the true reason she had left
all those years ago.
He thought, “If the reason was genuinely because she couldn’t ept me and chose to leave, what
should I do? Should I find a means to ensure she never regains that memory, or…”
Jonathan’s eyes shed with darkness.
Meanwhile, Rosalie let the two kids go in to y in the amusement area. She was watching over
them by the fence outside and told them to take care of one another.
The two little ones agreed, and Jennifer then eagerly took her brother’s hand and ran toward the
slide. Rosalie smiled and watched the two kids ying inside. But after a while, her gaze froze for a
moment when she spotted another two figures tucked away in a corner of the amusement park.
One of them was the same little girl she had encountered earlier. She was now squatting before the
little boy, seemingly talking to him.
The boy, in turn, was also squatting on a soft cushion. His dark doe eyes. were fixed on the little
girl.
In an instant, Rosalie felt as if she had been struck by something when she saw the little boy from
not far away.
He was a beautiful child, but he appeared slightly malnourished. His

young face looked somewhat sallow, and he appeared thinner than the average child.
Nheless, she could still see that his facial features were exceptionally delicate, which gave her
a faint sense of familiarity, as though she had seen him somewhere before.
Rosalie thought, “Could it be that this child bore a resemnce to some celebrity?”
What truly took her by surprise, though, was the vacant look in the little boy’s eyes at that very
moment. His gaze appeared empty, akin to an endless, icy abyss. His young face remained devoid
of any expression, as though he had neither joy nor sorrow within him.
His gaze and expression reminded her of the first time she had met Jonathan. Back then, he was
the same as this little boy.
However, the difference was that Jonathan was an adult. Yet, this boy before her was just a child,
and it appeared he had lost every trace of innocence.
Although this child’s eyes exuded emptiness, he seemed to be listening attentively to the little girl.
Since the two children were on the other side of the fence, Rosalie instinctively moved closer to
them outside the fence.
Then, she heard the two children talking.
“Zeki, are you sure you don’t want to y? It’s so much fun! Look. Everyone is ying here. Why
don’t we y together?”
The little boy remained silent and looked at her motionlessly.
“Well… how about you y with me? I really want to y. Zeki, will you y with me?” The little girl
thought for a while and changed her approach.
“Okay.” This time, the boy named Zekiah readily agreed without hesitation. “Karrie, if you want to
y, I’ll y with you.”
Once more, the word “Karrie” sent a shiver down Rosalie’s spine. This boy not only mirrored
Jonathan in his gaze and expressions, but his use of “Karrie” bore a striking resemnce to how
Jonathan referred to her.
Just when the two children got up and the little girl took the boy’s hand, a
chubby boy named Paddy came over with several older boys. Patrick said to the older boys, “I’m
talking about him. He’s really good at fighting. I’ve never seen him lose. You guys definitely can’t
beat him.”

“Patrick, what are you talking about?” the little girl stated angrily.
“I didn’t say anything wrong. Zekiah is naturally good at fighting!” Patrick remarked with a
mischievous glint in his plump face.
Seeing this, Rosalie knew that Patrick deliberately said so to arouse thepetitiveness of the
other boys.
Sure enough, the older boys immediately challenged Zekiah to a fight.
The little girl, however, was not willing to let this happen. Her petite frame stood in front of Zekiah
and said to them, “Zeki isn’t fighting. We are here to y and not fight! Go away, or else… I won’t
be polite!”
Unfortunately, her threat did not work at all. One of the boys leading them pushed her away directly.
It was toote for Rosalie to stop him.
The little girl stumbled and was pushed to the ground. Her head directly bumped against a nearby
facility’s pir, making her cry out in pain.
Her painful cry seemed to trigger something in Zekiah.
The next moment, the frail-looking little boy rushed toward the boy who pushed her like a beast.
The two children were notably different in size, yet therger boy was swiftly pushed to the ground
by the smaller boy. When the other boys attempted to help, they were also knocked to the ground
by this small, frail-looking child.
Rosalie was left in astonishment. She could somewhat discern the child’s fighting style was not the
usual, wild manner of children. Rather, it seemed to target the body’s weak points. Despite the
seemingly small fists, the strength he exerted appeared far greater than children his age.
As a result, the other kids were quickly beaten to the ground almost instantly.
Zekiah was still hitting the boy who had just pushed the little girl. As for Patrick who was beside him,
he was already stunned.
Rosalie hurried around the fence and rushed inside.
The others around them also noticed the situation there and gathered around to pull the boy away.
However, the little boy was like a piece of sticky chewing gum, clung to and hitting the boy. The
adults could not pull them apart.
It was not until the little girl hugged him and stated, “Zeki, stop fighting.

I’m not hurt!”
Zekiah finally let go and looked at her. “Does it hurt?”
