    After a brief pause, Ste said angrily, "I dare you to say that again!"


    Keegan took her hand and gently pulled her into his embrace. Then he rested his chin on her shoulder


    and said in an affectionate tone, "I''m right in front of you, yet you just wouldn''t stop asking about


    another man''s love life. That doesn''t sound very appropriate, does it?" "Well, should we talk about our


    own love life then?"


    Keegan nodded, looking expectant.


    Ste stared at him for a long time but found it difficult to speak. After some time, she frowned and


    said, "I don''t feel like talking about it anymore.

    Ste teased, pretending to unbutton his shirt. "Shame? My husband lost his memories, and I never


    got to have any fun before. Let''s enjoy it while itsts!"


    Keegan was taken aback.


    His expression darkened as he said, "Aren''t you supposed to be an aloof? How could you change the


    script halfway through?" Keegan could not ept that Ste was pretending to cheat on him.


    St leaned on his shoulder andughed for some time before sitting up. She hooked her arm around


    his neck and rubbed her nose against his while caressing his ears. "You don''t have to y along with


    everything I say.

    Keegan''s ear were heated by her touch as he spoke slowly with his gaze lowered, "I''m not going to


    y along with just everything." "Hmm?"


    Keegan leaned close to her ear and said, "If you wanted something more violent, I''d never say yes."


    Ste was taken aback.


    "You seem to know a lot," she muttered softly.


    Keegan hugged her for a while before calling her softly, "Ste." "Yeah?" she responded gently.

    that you''d let me die first whenever there''s a danger."
