    Keegan juggled work while keeping an eye on her. After observing her for a while, he could not hold


    back any longer but asked, "Why can''t you just sit still?"

    Keegan was speechless. "Do you want me to call Vermont over, so you two can talk?" "It''s okay. I can

    Aldor shook his head. "I''m almost done with my work, just waiting for Mr. Kane to look through."


    Ste immediately sat down. "Aldor, how are things between you and Aurora now?"


    Her question caught both Aldor and Keegan by surprise.


    She was not bored. Instead, her curiosity was driving her crazy and she finally decided to unleash it.


    Aldor chuckled awkwardly. "Mrs. Kane, can we talk about something else?"


    Ste said, "Did Keegan threaten you with something and force you to marry his sister? It''s okay, you


    can be honest with me. I have your back and won''t let him force you into a marriage against your will."


    Keegan paused. ''Does she really think I''d do such a thing?''


    Aldor said, "No, Mr. Kane will never do that." "So, you do like Aurora, huh?"


    Her question was too straightforward, and Aldor did not know how to answer as he looked for Keegan


    for help.


    Keegan nced at him as if saying, "Well, weren''t you very proud when siding with her to make fun of


    me earlier?''


    However, Keegan still decided to chime in, "Why are you so concerned about Aider''s love life?"


    Ste was immediately distracted by Keegan''s question. "I''m just worried that Aurora will bully Aldor.


    She used to do that a lot, didn''t she?" "Aldor is not that easy to bully. Aurora worked under him when


    she first joined thepany. Do you think that Aldor can''t handle her?" Keegan spoke as he signaled


    Aldor to leave first.


    Ste said, "You might not be necessarily right. Aurora is your sister, and if she mistreated Aldor, would


    he ever dare to tell you?" "He won''t, but Aurora will. She can''t keep things to herself," Keegan paused


    before he asked softly, "Do you still hate Aurora for what she did before?"


    Ste shook her head. "I don''t exactly hate her, but what she did still bothers me. However, when she


    went against what your mother told her to do, she kind of saved me."


    Then, she suddenly shifted the topic, "But that''s a story for another day. I''m pretty sure you know what


    Aurora''s temper is like. How can you do this to Aldor?"


    Keegan sighed. "You''re always so clever, but why do you sound so foolish now? Think about it, if Aldor


    had no feelings for Aurora, he would''ve straightforwardly rejected me."


    Ste paused as her expression became somewhat strange. "I really can''t imagine that Aldor would


    like someone like Aurora."


    Keegan said tly, "What can I say? Before I met you, I never thought that my other half would be


    someone so greedy and lustful either."
