When they got into the car, Carter received a call from Keegan. He remembered how Keegan asked
him to erase his divorce record, and his eyes twitched. Then, he declined the call without hesitation.
However, Keegan gave him another call shortly after. Carter was about to hang it up again, but Lena
said, “Pick it up.
What’s if it’s something urgent?”
Carter sighed. “He never calls for anything good.”
Although he said that, he answered the call anyway.
