    “Did you get checked?”


    “Why would I do that?” Ste red at him strangely.


    Keegan’s frown slowly went away after hearing that. He shifted his gaze to Aldor.


    Aldor shrugged. ‘Well, I didn’t know Mrs. Kane’s best friend was here too.’


    Ste looked at Keegan from head to toe. “Why are you here?”


    Keegan replied with a straight face, “To see a doctor.”


    “Oh, go ahead then.”


    “I just did.”


    “I see.” Then, Ste said, “You should go home now then. I still have to stay here with Felicity.

    ‘Why is she chasing me away? Does she really hate me so much?’


    Keegan red at her and said, “I’ll wait for you. I didn’t drive today.”


    Aldor was speechless.


    ‘Mr. Kane is getting better at lying.’


    Ste’s mouth twitched. “Are you sure? Aldor is right here.”


    Keegan said tly, “Earth Day falls on this month, right? That’s why I’mmuting without emitting


    carbon monoxide.”


    Ste kept quiet.
