    Chapter 1490

Gary finished up packing his leather suitcase rather quickly. He didn''t have too many things he

needed to bring along, so it was easy to sort them out.

When he was packing up, Celeste sat next to him without saying anything. She looked pitiful with

    her red and swollen eyes.

Gary really wanted to hug this silly girl.

"These are the stuff Aunt Grace gave to Ernest and Maria for them to bring back here. You can take

some back to Boston, we can divide them." Celeste took out the things that they had brought for

them and loaded it for him.

"I won''t take it." Gary said, "These are all snacks that I left for you, I''m not bringing these to those

    stinky men."

Celeste was surprised. "What about your uncles?"

"Them?" Gary shook his head. "They don''t need it, they can go back and have some themselves."

"But..." Celeste felt like it would be better if he had brought along some food.

"No buts, you can keep these for yourself. I might being back next month," he said. "If you can''t

finish it, you can leave some for me."

"You''reing back next month?" Celeste looked up at him in surprise.

"What? You don''t want me toe back?" He looked at Celeste and blinked his eyes.

Celeste shook her head, then lowered it. "I didn''t say that."

"If I don''te back, you can go to Boston." He looked at her. "It won''t be too long before we meet."

Gary couldn''t bear to see her so sad, so he reached out and hugged her.

He pulled her into his arms.

Celeste didn''t know how to react.

He was letting her go to the US.

In the past four years, he had never once brought the prospect of her going to America, but he

    finally brought it up.

    Celeste felt sour again.

Did this mean she had to persevere to the very end?

It didn''t matter how it would turn out, but it was very unexpected.

"Are you sure you want me to go to the US? Didn''t you say you didn''t want me to go before?" She

    couldn''t help but ask.

"Because you were too young, and I wasn''t confident if I could control myself, so I couldn''t

guarantee I wouldn''t do anything when I see you."

    Celeste was shocked.

"You know, I can''t resist you," he said in a husky voice.

Celeste was flustered as her straight face was tinted with a blush.

Gary held Celeste''s small hands and lowered his head to look at her. He said, "Alright, go take a

shower. Let''s chat. I''m the one to me for not speaking with you properly these few days. Shall we

    talk the night away?"

Celeste nodded and went to take a bath.

After she was done, Gary took a bath as well. The two of themid in bed, covering themselves with

nkets and indulged in pure chatter.

That night, Gary really did as he said he would. He didn''t do much but covered himself with a

nket andmitted to chatting with Celeste.

Dawn came, and he was still chatting with Celeste, holding her in his arms. He took deep breaths

as he held her. However, he couldn''t do anything, so he could only be anxious.

He got up and took a cold shower.

When he got up for the second time, Celeste suddenly felt like he was going too far.

She grabbed Gary''s hand and said with a blushing face, "Don''t go, I didn''t say you can go."

Gary was surprised as he looked at the hand that was tightly held by Celeste. He raised his

eyebrows and asked, "Celeste, do you know what you''re doing?"

Celeste was even more embarrassed by his question. Her face was so red her blush spread to her

ears, but still nodded. "I''m not that dramatic. To keep it simple, I don''t want you to take a shower."

Gary smiled. This silly girl of his was truly a softhearted girl.

She didn''t want him to take his second shower after letting him take his first.

He walked back and sat by Celeste''s side. He lowered his head and gazed at her. With a small

smile, he asked, "What do you mean by that?"

She didn''t want to face him after being questioned and grumbled, "Don''t you know what I''m trying to

    say?"

After that, she turned around and didn''t look at him anymore.

Gary smiled. He didn''t move away.

He just said, "Celeste, you know boys and girls are different. I have an uncontroble desire for you,

so I can''t do anything in response. But I also know you''re the only one I treat this way."

"What I''m trying to say is, I want to be with you because I like you. I can''t do this with anyone else if

    it''s not you."

He was expressing his love for her.

Celeste pursed her lips, turned around and looked at him.

Her eyes were as clear as water, quiet and surprised. "Were you confessing your love to me just

now? Are you saying you''re only like this with me?"

"Of course, only with you." He felt like she was insulting him as she questioned him. "You can

question me about other things, but you can''t question me about this."

"I wasn''t questioning you. I''m just happy." She smiled shyly. "Because you''re not someone who

would admit that they like someone so easily."

He hugged her and lowered his head to look at her, letting her understand that she was the reason

for the blossoming of his emotions.

"Hmm? Then, are we still fighting?"

"No." She shook her head. "I don''t have anything against you. I just want to protest, you were very

    cold to me."

Heughed and said, "Then can I use my boyfriend rights now?"

Who else would ask such a blunt question?

She was too embarrassed to answer.

"If you''re not going to respond, I''ll take that as a yes." He teased her with a smile, full of patience.

Celeste pouted. "The sun''s about to rise. You''ll be returning to Boston very soon."

"Are you trying to nag me into farming faster?" Heughed, pressing his head against her forehead.

Celeste turned around. She didn''t want to look at him.

He let out a warm breath that tickled her cheeks. He whispered, "Did you think about me at all these

    past few days?"

Celeste felt like he was acting strange. He was talking too much.

She thought he woulde to her room in the house in London, but he didn''t.

It was as if he waspeting with her. He didn''t go anywhere, and they were in their bubble of a

cold war for two to three days.

She had really lost her confidence in that space of

    time.

There was a touch of sadness in Celeste''s eyes as she casted them down. She didn''t look at him.

"It''s my fault," He lowered his head and said. "I should''ve went searching for you instead of arguing.

I was actually thinking of you back in the house in London, but I was afraid we would start shing."

"You felt scared too?" She thought it was absurd.

"Yeah, " Gary nodded his head and said seriously, "I''m afraid that you''ll be disappointed and let

    down by me."

She widened her eyes in surprise.

His eyes flickered and he lowered his head. "There''s not much time left, I''ll buy some time, three

    times, is that okay okay?"

She shook her head, she would be exhausted to death.

He smiled and said, "Let''s wait and see, maybe you''ll agree with me."

"I won''t," Celeste muttered. "Don''t lie to me."
