Chapter 1241

    Chapter 1241

Gary was taken aback by the question. He quickly rolled his eyes around and said, "Mommy, I was

just kidding. You don''t have to take it to heart. We''re only 16; there''s only so much we know about

    rtionships."

He stopped in time and knew how to avoid her questions properly. Grace stared at her son, and for

the first time, she truly felt that her son had grown up; he had secrets he wished to keep to himself.

And he knew to keep it from her.

She couldn''t help but ponder on whether she had been overly focused on her two younger children

and ended up neglecting her eldest son. Perhaps, that was why he no longer wished to share his

    secrets with her.

Grace sighed in her heart and looked at him with gentle eyes. "Gary, can we talk about why you are

so insistent on studying abroad in a different country from Ernest? Considering how the both of you

only reunited when you were five, I''m actually hoping that you could leave together."

Gary looked at his mother and asked, "Mommy, are you worried about me or Ernest not being able

to get used to living overseas?"

Grace was shocked, "I''m worried about the both of you."

"Mommy, although we''re twins, we''re still individuals," Gary reiterated once again, "I hope that you

can respect our choices. After all, we are the ones in charge of our own lives in the future. My life

won''t intersect with Ernest''s and vice versa, so we will have to deal with it on our own."

Grace was about to say something, but Gary spoke again, "Just like how you and Little Aunt both

have your own lives. Little Aunt left you to run the Sunny Group, and she has been doing well, not

to mention how she also has a happy family with two children."

"Gary," Grace said with a serious tone, "I can see where you areing from, but don''t you think

your decision might be a little rash? Considering how you made this decision because of a girl?"

Gary looked as if he was caught off guard, "Mommy, who told you this was due to a girl?"

"I can tell," Grace answered, "Don''t try to hide it. Gary, you know that I trust you and Ernest, which

is why I think that there is no reason for both of you to separate. Life is a long journey in which love

    and rtionships could change anytime."

"Mommy, let Ernest and Celeste go to Ennd together." Gary spoke seriously, "I''m really fine with

it. You don''t have to worry about me."

"Gary, what I meant was for the both of you to not separate from one another."

"Mommy, am I the one who is studying abroad, or you?"

Grace didn''t know how to respond to that.

She knew that she couldn''t force things to go her way.

At first, she didn''t care, but now she suddenly felt concerned about it.

Who would have thought that Celeste would appear in this whole saga?

It seemed like Gary had already made up his mind, but what about Ernest?

"Mommy, I want to be alone for now. Why don''t you go and work on other things? You don''t have to

    worry about me."

After being ordered to leave by her son, Grace felt helpless at how he wouldn''t obey her upon

    growing up.

She nodded. Even though she wanted to talk more about it, she still left his room quickly.

She gave him space to contemte.

When she went downstairs to the second floor, she instantly spotted Heinz standing outside the

    study.

He stared at her with an understanding look, but he still wanted to tease her. "Why do you look so

gloomy after meeting Celeste? Was she so scary looking that she spooked you?"

"Stop joking around." Grace grabbed his hand, entered the study, and closed the door.

Heinz shrugged and immediately reached out to grab her by the waist. He leaned close to her ears

ambiguously and asked, "What is it? What do you want to talk about?"

"It seems like we have big trouble," Grace started fidgeting Heniz''s cor due to how worried she

felt, "Both your sons seem to have a crush on Celeste."

Upon hearing that, Heinz raised his eyebrows and asked, "So?"

"Don''t you think it''s terrifying for the both of them to fall in love with the same girl?" Grace felt even

more nervous upon seeing how nonchnt Heinz seemed.

"What''s there to be terrified of? A wonderful girl would certainly be chased after by boys. If Celeste

wasn''t outstanding, our sons wouldn''t have ended up admiring her at the same time. Though I do

think that there''s a big difference between love and admiration. That''s why I don''t think you have to

worry so much about it." Heinz lowered his head to look at Grace, "We were both young once. How

    could you not understand this?"

Although Grace saw where he wasing from, she still felt worried.

She understood the rationale, but she was concerned due to how much she cared about both of her

    sons.

"This is just the beginning. Who knows how many more times our sons will be in a rtionship?"

Heinzughed. "What if he ended up having multiple rtionships in his life without treating any of

them seriously? Wouldn''t it be overly nerve-wracking for you to worry about it all the time?"

Even though she knew that Heinz wasforting her, she still couldn''t help but protest, "How could

you say that about your own son? If he really started so many rtionships, he would be such a

    yer."

"It doesn''t matter how many rtionships the three of them enter, as long as the same doesn''t apply

to Sylvia." Heinz expressed his stance, "Sylvia is an exception; I have to protect her from the brats

    out there."

Grace was speechless, "Aren''t you practicing a double standard by treating your own daughter so

well while you don''t give a d*mn about other people''s daughters?"

Heinz chuckled and nodded, "Those are the daughters of others, but their fathers may not be as

    qualified as I am."

    Content property of N?velDra/ma.Org.

"How arrogant," Grace''s mind felt even more cluttered now, "Fine, there''s no point in talking about

this with you. I''m going to see Alice."

It seemed that she had to talk about this with Alice. Otherwise, she was going to be stressed to

death. If not, she could also talk to Yvonne.

"Alice is very busy, so you''d better not bother her." Heinz said, "I''ve told you to leave them alone

already. No matter what happens, it''s all up to them. They should be the ones making their own

    decisions."

"Why are you saying the same thing as Gary?"

"You see, you''re not as understanding as your son." Heinz said, "They''re only 16, so they won''t

really fall in love yet. If they do, it''s all just their hormones, so all these feelings may notst at all.

You shouldn''t start worrying about this when nothing has even happened yet."

Grace also understood that she was overly worried about it, but ultimately these concerned her

children. How could she not worry as a mother?

Before they could settle this matter, they learned that Gary had booked his flight ticket to leave for

the United States in three days.

Grace realized how self-reliant Gary really was, as well as how he had reached the age where he

    wanted to be independent.

When Ernest came home, Grace asked him, "Your brother has booked his flight ticket to leave in

three days. What about you, Ernest? Do you still n to head to Ennd?"
