Chapter 539
"Get to the point then." Heinz said in a low voice, "So what you just said was not the main topic?"
"Why are you in such a hurry?" Old Master Carter replied gruffly, "The main topic I wanted to talk about
is the marriage between the two of you."
As soon as he said that, the whole table fell into silence.
Grace was also dumbfounded. She didn''t expect Old Master Carter to bring this up.
Heinz was flustered. Then, he suddenlyughed and said, "Grandpa, you''ve finally done the right
thing."
"I agree with that as well," Little Gary chimed in.
Ernest added, "Grandpa, are you going to arrange for Mommy and Daddy to get married?"
"Yes," said Old Master Carter. "Heinz owes you a title. Therefore, he must give you a grand wedding.
That''s what he owes you for giving birth to two children."
"Even without the children, I will still give her a grand wedding," Heinz growled. "This is only a fair
treatment to a woman."
"You are just boasting," Old Master Carter snorted. "If you don''t have a child, what kind of wedding
would you give her? Based on your character, it would be just a wedding trip and a quiet marriage."
Heinz was dismissed thus he red up instantly, "Grandpa, I''ve just praised you, yet you turfed me
out. Are you helping me or not?"
"I''m ruining your reputation," Old Man Carter said. "Let''s not talk about useless things. What do you
n to do?"
Heinz looked at Grace and said, "I''ll listen to everything Grace wants."
Grace fell speechless for a moment. Her heart was pounding. This was the first time that she had
formally talked about such a thing.
She had been hesitant, but now that Ernest was indeed her child, she wouldn''t have any regrets once it
was all confirmed.
"Oh, no. I still have to bring Grandma''s ashes to be buried at the Lowe Family''s plot in Soutnd," she
thought.
Only once everything was done, she would dly marry Heinz.
After a slight hesitation, Grace said, "I don''t have much requirements for the wedding. A grand wedding
is only for others to admire. The life experience of these past few years tells me that I have to be
independent and afortable life will be sufficient."
Old Master Carter nodded slightly with a touch of appreciation in his eyes, but he still added, "I will ask
Heinz to prepare for the wedding. If you need my help with anything, just let me know."
"Thank you," Grace felt touched.
Old Master Carter chuckled, "We are a family now. I''m still waiting for you to address me as Grandpa."
Heinz gazed at Grace as she did not make any requests. He said, "Grace, I would be letting you down
if there was no grand wedding. I want to announce to the world that you are Heinz Jones''s wife."
Grace was flustered as she looked at Heinz in surprise.
His eyes were twinkling with firmness.
Grace pursed her lips and looked down. She didn''t dare to face him as she said, "It''s up to you. You
can do whatever you want."
Heinz nodded.
Little Gary spoke at this moment, "Which hotel hall would you book? How many carats of diamond are
you going to give her? Who is going to design the wedding dress? These details must be considered.
Where will you stay after the ceremony? You have to think about it carefully!"
"You don''t need to think about it," Heinz nced at his son and said, "But I''m d that you are worried
about it."
"Don''t you have your dad to be worried about?" The little fellow peered at Heinz and asked, "Isn''t there
anyone else in your family except this old man?"
Speaking of this, Heinz''s face darkened.
Old Master Carter''s expression changed as well. He immediately said, "What''s wrong with an old man
like me? I can fight against a hundred people on my own. I can handle any situation, no matter what."
Little Gary scoffed and pursed his lips as he said disapprovingly, "They are about to get married, yet
you are still not honest, aren''t you? Mommy, I think you have to be careful. It doesn''t matter if you get
married or not. If you get married and find out that it''s a fire pit, you won''t be able to get yourself out of
trouble then."
"You brat!" Old Master Carter eximed, "Why are you destroying your father''s n?"
"What are you talking about?" Little Gary saidnguidly, "If we want to hold a wedding, we have to
invite those who are not dead at least. As for those whom we can''t invite, we should state our reasons
for not inviting them. That''s how we show our sincerity."
"That''s true," Old Master Carter nodded. "Kid, you are smart."
"Where''s his father?" Little Gary looked at Heinz. "Don''t tell me he''s dead."
"His father is your grandfather and he''s not dead," Old Master Carter said. "What a brat. You don''t even
address people correctly."
Little Gary was also calm and said, "If I could, I would want to address you correctly as well, but I''m not
willing to do it. Hence, what are you going to do about that? You weren''t a part of my life when I was
growing up. You didn''t put in the effort, yet you want to reap the results. How can it be so simple?"
In actuality, Little Gary never nned to change the way he had been addressing people.
At least not at the moment.
His mommy had worked so hard to raise him up. He understood very well that it was necessary to be
persistent in some aspects.
Grace felt a little helpless too. This child was too opinionated. Although she was his mother, she
couldn''t influence the child''s thoughts.
Old Master Carter was dazed for a moment, but he guffawed inughter. "Okay, it''s not bad to have a
bottom line and be persistent."
"Of course," Little Gary admittedposedly.
Heinz felt helpless and guilty. He frowned deeply, and there was a pain in his eyes. If this child was not
willing, he wouldn''t force him either.
He believed that one day, he would be willing to call him father in the future.
"Grandpa, Little Gary is right. Let''s have famous designers to specially design the wedding dress,
decorate the hotel wedding hall, and even the ring. They will all be one of a kind." Heinz said, "These
would only be worthy of Grace."
"There''s no need," Grace shook her head instantly. "I don''t think it''s necessary."
"Grace," Old Master Carter said abruptly when he saw Grace rejecting, "I''m telling you, if a man doesn''t
invest in you, it means that he doesn''t care about you. In the future, he''ll just call you off."
Grace looked at Old Master Carter in surprise, thinking, "Whose side is this old man standing on?"
"Just listen to me and don''t think too much. I''ll get Heinz to arrange everything for you. Everything will
be the best." Old Master Carter looked at his grandson and growled, "Do you hear me?"
"Of course."
"Then, you guys should get your marriage certificate first." Old Master Carter said, "After getting the
marriage certificate, prepare for the wedding. The wedding will be held in two to three months. Okay?"
"I have no problem with that," Heinz said as he faced Grace.
Grace was surprised, "So soon?"
She immediately said, "I''ll wait for the court on Lorenzo''s case first, then I''m going to Soutnd to bury
my grandma''s ashes. When Ie back, we''ll get the marriage certificate, okay?"
"Okay!" Heinz agreed. "I will apany you to Soutnd to bury the ashes!"
"That''s settled then!" Old Master Carter said, "Come, let''s eat."
"Mommy is going to marry Dad. Gary and I are going to have aplete family. That''s great." Ernest
pped his hands. "I''m delighted."All content is ? N0velDrama.Org.
As he spoke, a rumbling thunder sounded outside.
A few of them peered outside.
Outside the window, they saw thick, dark clouds covering the sky, and it looked like it was going to rain.
