    Sean smirked, raising an eyebrow. “Noelle, if I’m not mistaken, didn’t your sister book this entire


    floor?” Noelle’s cheeks turned pink as she caught the yful glint in Sean’s eyes. She had heard


    the sounds too, and she was not a clueless kid. She


    knew exactly what those noises meant, and it made her feel second-


    hand embarrassment.


    She wanted to get out of there

    “Shh!” Sean whispered, putting his finger to his lips. “Don’t you want to check out the show?”


    “No way!” Noelle shook her head. “Let’s get out of here!” They could not just stand around and


    listen to that. However, a loud cry pierced the air, “Xavier, harder!”


    Noelle’s heart skipped a beat. She had no feelings for Xavier anymore, but hearing that voice during


    such an intimate moment was just too much. It was awkward, and there was a weird feeling she


    could not quite name inside her chest.


    Sean heard it too and looked at Noelle with a knowing smile. He figured she was too shy, so he


    joked, ” Why don’t you go find Charles? I’ll hang back and listen in.”


    “Um…” Noelle started to protest, but Sean was already opening the balcony window. He hopped


    onto the balcony and jumped over to the next one, where he saw the bride and groom from today’s


    wedding, wrapped up in each other’s arms.

    Sean raised an eyebrow. His lips curled into a smirk as he snapped a photo with his phone of the


    two people tangled up in the lounge. He shook his head and clicked his tongue, thinking about how


    the world had changed. Outside, the guests were still enjoying their drinks, unaware that the two


    people who should have been the center of attention were up to something sneaky in the lounge.


    Noelle had not left. She was just waiting by the door. It took a while before she saw Sean stroll out,


    looking calm and collected. Noelle’s cheeks were red with embarrassment, but seeing Sean looking


    so serious, she frowned and said, “Mr. Smith, we should go.”

    Sean quirked an eyebrow. “Don’t you want to know what they were up to in there?”


    Noelle looked up, her eyes cool as she met Sean’s gaze.


    For some reason, Sean felt a chill. Noelle’s eyes reminded him so much of Charles’s that for a


    second, he actually felt scared!

    lounge, his eyes flickering with an uncertain light.


    Noelle came into the banquet hall with Sean, where everyone was having a great time eating and


    drinking. However, they noticed Noelle had slipped away, and when she reappeared, she had a


    new guy by her side
